I haven´t seen Ladyhawke, I´ll look for the Spanish title and I´ll try to get that film!
Oh yes do, it's a really fantastic film!
It´s called Lady Halcón in Spanish. Next step: getting it!

Now, this is not exactly legal, so just pretend that I didnt say anything silent

I would like to know why are they called "feathers" in English, does anybody knows?
I suppose it is so because they are associated with birds' feathers by most people (including me Laughing ).

Really? I´d never thought on bird feathers when seeing those long hairs untill I saw the English name xD But it makes sense. In Spanish we call them "cernejas", which has nothing to do with birds - in fact, those long hairs are the only meaning for that Spanish word.

In Polish there is a phrase "szczotka pęcinowa" which literally means "fetlock brush" - I also think this one is more accurate Razz

Very Happy Yes, horse feathers are more similar to brushes than to bird feathers!
