/Taos' general additions update 10/2/2024

The pteranodon is a Schleich mini copy I think. Great batch! The goat, female(?)/young male turkey, and guinea pigs are especially great!

So many wonderful charity shop finds!
I love the Rough Collie and that little puppy- such a sweet dog, it reminds me of the sort I see in children's magazines!

Andreas-I don't know the maker of the cats or the guinea pigs as there are no marks on them.

A Toy Major Giraffe,a Timpo Elephant,a New Ray horse-a colour variant,a Safari ltd tube turtle
The old Safari Ltd White Rhino-reserved for Paige-,a Bullyland tiger-I have the normal colour of this model but haven't seen this one before and the Bullyland Kangaroo.
Unknown riders-similar in size to Britains.I remember seeing these when I was younger but can't remember anything about them!

The elephant is lovely, the giraffe is rare to me.
The riders are very detailed.

The horses with riders are great, I've never seen them. The Safari rhino is very nice too.

Lovely additions again my friend :)

What a wonderful box that must have been, so many lovely models! The Southlands dingo is beautiful, but of course my favourites are those two gorgeous New Ray dogs! As I was discussing with Roger recently I love the level of detail the sculptor has used with the muscles, skin folds and fur, the labrador especially has been really well made! But I adore the goldie of course, full of the lovable personality of this breed and I love the inquisitive raised paw- all our goldie's give/ gave paws when they wanted to be stroked!

Nice additions, especially the dingo.

A really lovely Boxer-hollow and made of hard plastic-the shop I bought it in thought it was an Action man/GI Joe but I think hes way too big

A model of a Cockapoo dog from a BBC Children's TV series.He is called Waffle.A nice model if a bit smiley!!

Wow what a lot of fantastic models!!
I of course have to talk about those wonderful dogs, so much variety! Those Ertl dogs are lovely, really hard to get hold of here but a really good opportunity to add them! I love the Rough Collie, you can never have too many collies! And the Brittany is another reason why I love this brand, a lovely model of this more unusual breed! And of course the GSD is really nice too, it reminds me a bit of the CollectA model and has been painted really well with all those shades of brown and black! Wow, the boxer is an amazing find, it is an action man model- based on Brutus the boxer and was made in the 70s by Palitoy if I remember correctly! And Waffle! With a goldendoodle coming next year from Schleich it's really interesting to have a cockapoo too- I've seen another Waffle figure too in a magazine but in a different pose, so must be a popular programme!

Wow, a lot of new beauties! What brand are the black and brown bears? And the ring-tailed lemurs? The lemur with the baby is great. Like Sunny, I'd be interested to know what the height of the Bullyland white tiger is.
