Great lot! The Morgan mare has been on my gotta-get list as I somewhat regret trading one I had, love the GSD of course, and that falcon? on a post is a lovely sculpt.

Bonnie-thanks for the info regarding the Boxer.The Tomy dogs are re-releases of the ERTL dogs-they are even marked with this.The colouring is slightly different on them.I have the original English Springer spaniel,even though it looks more like a Brittany or a Clumber!
Caracal-the falcon/hawk on the tree is by AAA.Not sure what species it is meant to be!
Roger-the bear families are New Ray and the Ring tailed lemurs are AAA

That's really interesting, thank you! If you have enough time (But don't worry at all if not!) I'd love to see some comparison photos of the older versions next to the newer versions! And I'd love to know whether you know roughly the date of when they were re-released- were they Ebay finds?

The calves really are splendid! And I am SO glad that peacock stayed whole on this trip across the water.

New additions from my holiday in Spain.
The Grey Whale I'm assuming is a copy-it is marked with Wing Crown 2007
The cat are made in China-they came as sets of 3-they had other sets of dogs/farm animals but the cats were by far the best
The hippo is quite a nice copy of the Papo model
I found all of these in a seaside souvenir shop.
The sharks and the donkey I found in discount shops-again copies of models.
The lovely black Papo Percheron and the farm animals by Miniland-a Spanish company I found in a small shop that sold mostly dolls and their accessories(boy,are dolls popular in Spain,not just the Barbie variety but the ones that look look babies)
The buck/stag and the Akita dog are both very large made in china models but are both well made.The buck/stag is trying to be a white tail but the ears are too small and the tail is tiny and not white!I found these is a little stall again selling dolls and sweets and a little section with these 2 models and a load of copies of Schleich horses!
Finally found the large Science and Nature Tasmanian Devil in a local charity shop.

A nice batch of souvenir finds! And it's always nice to buy animals when you're out somewhere, cos they stay special forever afterwards in your collection, they really do bring back memories.
The donkey is sweet - is that the older Mojo sculpt? The only grazing one I can think of, I might need to find him for my donkey herd And the akita at the end there is a lovely sculpt and looks pretty well made & painted compared to a lot of unbranded made-in-Chinas, I think he's my favourite of all your holiday buys.

Yes,the donkey maybe based on the old Mojo donkey-here is a pic of the Mojo Donkey.
I was also surprised at how well made the Akita is for a made in China model,even the markings are quite good.

Wow, what a wonderful holiday it must have been!
And WOW, look at that beautiful Akita! I've never seen it before and have saved the photo- so so interesting, that is such a wonderful find! The sculpt is really nice, so much detail with that flowing fluffy fur! I tried really hard to place a brand on this one but I can't think- it could be by Wing Crown as they made some larger dogs at about 20cm, I have it written down that these dogs were for 'soft play' whatever that means! I have also saved a photo of that lovely GSD, another wonderful dog I have never seen before!

Thanks for the info Bonnie.The Akita is a real find and a great model of a breed we hardly ever see.I tried to find a makers mark but all it has is dog underneath.The GSD is a really nice model and is made by Miniland which is a Spanish company based in Alicante.The horse model has the most info about the company and the others are just marked with Miniland.

Went to a car boot today and got a whole bunch of models!!!!
K&M-Killer Whale,Beluga,Polar bear and Leopard Seal.
Joy City crocodile and Roadrunner.
AAA Llama cria and poison dart frog.
ELC calves-different versions from the ones I have.
Unknown budgie and parrots
MIC antelope,Polar bear,and Cavalier King Charles spaniel.
Lots of Puppy/Kitten/Pony in my pocket!

Wow, more additions! I never knew that so many lovely models could be found in car boot sales! That MIC cavalier is so interesting, I had never heard of this brand or this model and what a sweet representation of a ruby cavalier it is! Thank you for introducing it to me, I have of course saved a photo with the name of the brand! And if anyone knows more about MIC I'd love to know! The puppy in my pockets are wonderful too, I love that Pekingese, he's been very well done!
