| Blaine posted some giant figures on ATF ... apparently, not much is expectable from Kaiyodo for 2018. I like the scorpion a lot but it is quite huge. |

| Thanks for sharing, awesome figurines! I know it's not the crab's face, but it looks like a face, and it just looks so happy |

| The lion I am not 100% sure but all other animals look really fantastic! Fortunately, the most fantastic is the most wished, that serval! |

| This set comes with a lot of questions. Are they all larger-sized or is it just the rhino? Are they single-piece or assembled? Is the stork the same as the previous one or just similar? Well, I like the serval, too, and the lion looks like it has a nice face/mane. _________________ - Andy

| Ahhhh...just ordered the serval from Brett! The other animals look good too but the serval stole my heart and will be the one joining my collection!
It's quite rare to see a serval in mass produced figure form to begin with...so I am super excited to see Kaiyodo has released one.
Now if only one of the major brands *cough* *cough* Papo *cough* would make a serval! (And a caracal...and the list goes on...) |

Thanks. The zebra actually looks more interesting from this picture. The character on the background poster has a crocodile tail, so Kaiyodo still has more to keep them busy, yes? _________________ - Andy

| From the above photo the serval looks to be about the right size. The shoe bill stands much taller than the rhino and looks to be unusually large scalled than the others. I can only guess this by looking at the 'rhino on someones hand' photo
they all look good but I will definitely be going for Shoebill, Zebra and Serval and perhaps rhino which could be a younger rhino in comparison to existing brands?
I wish the japanese companies would produce some antelopes, that would be ecstatic!
And what is with the Japanese Obsession with Shoebills? Doki Doki, Eikoh, Kaiyodo, I mean the amount of replicas produced in honour of this bird is wonderfully astounding but unusual too.... |

| Shoebills is one of my favourite birds and , until the Dokidoki one I was sad no companies produced one, soon I will have a legion on my shelves I think Japanese companies produced more shebills now than ostriches. |

| Here are much better images (Scroll down (Can someone post the actual lower image(s)?).). of the Wild Bush set. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Don't love the continued cheating (shoebill redux) by the company but otherwise looking forward to this one as I'm very happy to see the company addressing some iconic world species. Also note the World Animal Journal moniker hopefully indicating that we'll be seeing more along this line of subjects. There is, btw, a CQ dinosaur skeleton set releasing in March. Taking orders for both sets now. Brett |
