Could it be referring to a series of Wild Bush animals as mentioned by others here and that bit by bit we will have a lots of series totaling 30 pieces?

The sculptor is Matsumura who also sculpted that huge African elephant. Pretty exciting....

Very nice figures from Kaiyodo! I love the human lookalikes. I have to say the Shoebill male looks a little mean, but the Serval and Caiman ladies look spot on. It would be great to see this trend continued.

The Africa set was delayed and releases this month.

The South America set releases in August.

I'm taking orders for both--sets or individuals--now.

What about the crab?

Several Kaiyodo figures have been delayed recently (last year's aquarium set of 6 (I literally only saw one of each figure listed over the past month.), last month's Wild Rush l (now due this month), and yes, the Sofubi crab). Will try to remember to update when it releases.

These are all great looking animals--esp the serval. But he looks as big as the Rhino, zebra and lion. Wonder what scale he is?

All Kaiyodo Gashapon figures--from microscopic to whales and dinos--are around the same size.  That's part of their appeal.

The video is good--gives you perceptive. So the serval would be smaller than then main stream brands like schleich and CollectA rhinos, but most likely not that much smaller that it would fit into their scale.

I only collect Kaiyodo figures so I can't speak to other manufacturers' sizes/scales.  My guess is the serval is about 2 inches long.

Kaiyodo figures are rarely, if ever, to scale. I agree with Brett. I like that most all of them are about the same size (outside of special lines, of course, like Sofubi Toy Box or Mega Sofubi).

The Kaiyodo page has larger and more detailed photos of the Wild Rush 2 South America set releasing next month (unless it's a month late like the first set). It surpasses the first in all ways.

Again, I've really been impressed by the overall theme and designs of these figures. I think these new ones look even better.

I agree with you 100%.  It's a great, long awaited line. The subject selections are very satisfying and their sculpts are beautiful, with this set, I think, surpassing the African one in the latter regard.

With the exception of the 2016 Favorite Expo dino pairs, I've also had more requests for this set than anything I've offered in the three years I've been selling.
