Thanks. I asked a friend of mine, who is a professor of ichthyology and his reaction to this was, that this a good example of a darker Egyptian Sea Horse.

Yes, I've seen this. Maybe they representatives of different species. I'v noticed that one of them was a Hippocampus reidi.

I bought 3 different versions today :)

It is quite cool that you find a species for figures we think they're just generic. It also reminds me that all seahorse figures on TAI are in a single page and it is maybe time to split it into species.

That is wonderful! I will make later the species pages with these marketed to the level species. In a quick view, at least 6 different species are listed htere. After it, maybe your friend could help with the generic ones once I believe some of them are attributable to a certain species. :)

I know that the sea horse from Schleich is a Slender Sea Horse (Hippocampus reidi )

Interesting information. I will get soon 5 different sea horses and will look now for my other figures.

Thanks, I created the pages with those already identified, they're linked here Most are not marketed up to their species level but I believe some could be identifyied like the Yujin, Safari and a few more. The Bullyland pages need to be redesigned.

Thank you Caracal. Well, most of them were presents from my wife, my family or my friends. And I've started to collect animal models when I was a child.

Hi, it's from Schleich. This Porcupine originally belonged to the Bayala world.
