| Thank you Roger and Andreas. Roger, models printed with this material and resolution are more expensive, but its not too bad for smaller models like these (these were 20-30 euros each unpainted). |

| These are splendid, and great work painting the resin models! Congratulations on all! _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Small collection update, I have some more things on the way but I wanted to show some things I got from Japan, thanks to Brett and his source! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Two cetaceans, Kitan Club Toba Aquarium Commerson's dolphin and Kitan Club Art in the Pocket Risso's dolphin. The Art in the Pocket series are plastic figures that are made to look like they have been carved from wood, which I think works quite well for a Risso's dolphin. That said it's still too 'stylized' for my main collection, but I think it's a nice figure of an underrated species so I wanted to have one. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Toys Spirits Moray Mascot set. These are made of flexible rubber and each comes with a plastic pipe or pot that can be used for fun display options. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Besides the Japanese figures I got this set of birds from a local seller. They were sold as Club Earth but they look more like Nayab to me. Any ideas? Since I don't really collect birds they are available for sale or trade. |

| Outside of cetaceans, my main collecting focus is deep sea fish. Yesterday I received a full set of the Safari ltd 1997 Creatures of the Deep, a collection of 6 larger sized deep sea fish figures that glow in the dark. The collection has been retired for a while and these figures are pretty hard to find, especially outside of the US. This particular set, including the display stand, had been on eBay for a while; I finally caved and made an offer and the seller accepted! They have only ever been used for display so they're in perfect condition, tags included. The display stand is big enough to fit most of my deep sea fish figures, so here are some pictures of my collection! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Wow what an incredible set! I didn’t know there was a display stand for these figures. They all look so good together! Congrats! _________________ Jolie

| Your deep sea fish collection is beautiful and, despite models are from different brands and scales, they work goo together. |

| Belated thanks to Megaptera and Jill Time for another collection update, starting with a package I got from Paige! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Paige was very helpful in helping me obtain some figures from the US as well as the Toymany website. Now I'm finally able to cross the US Yowie Vaquita and Irrawaddy dolphin off my list. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here is a closer look at the three Toymany cetaceans: a Beluga, Narwhal and a mini Bowhead whale. The Bowhead is too small for my main collection but I love this species a lot and it's a nice figure. The monodontids are very nice as well and I can't wait to see what other cetacean species Toymany will produce in the future! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Some other interesting figures from this package are these (brandless, as far as I know) dolphins. They are all the same mould but painted to represent different species; Common dolphin, Pacific white-sided, Atlantic white-sided and Bottlenose. The mould doesn't work as well on the two white-sided dolphins but I think they're very interesting for being generic made-in-China figures. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The past few months I was also able to get some very rare figures I have been looking for for a while. The two small common dolphins are the Kenner Wonder World 'Dolphin Friends'. The two larger figures are both by W.A.I/Wildlife Artists Inc. The dolphin is a very interesting figure as it's the only one of this species (either a Spinner or a Clymene dolphin). The Beluga is a figure I didn't even know existed until I found this one on eBay. |

| So glad everything arrived safely! And I agree, your kenner and WAI are very nice new arrivals! _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Happy Halloween! Here is a small-ish collection update. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Two new Right whale figures, with these I now have all different Right whale toy figures in existence (that I know of)! The top one is the new Schleich, which I was very surprised by. Not just its pretty sudden release, but also how nice it is! It's very accurate and detailed, with individually sculpted barnacles that actually look like barnacles and not some kind of fish eggs! Highly recommend this figure. Below it is the elusive newer version of the AAA Right whale. I actually found this figure a while ago but it got lost in the mail. Thankfully it finally popped up again. I got it together with the older AAA Sperm whale which I also still needed but forgot to take a picture of it. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I also got a package from Brett which included one more addition for the cetacean collection, the Favorite Soft Model Humpback whale, the last one I needed of this series. Some other figures included the Ikimon LED Jellyfish set. They're supposed to represent different species but are all the same mould. Sadly the LED in the orange one doesn't work [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Also from Brett are both sets of the Ikimon mushroom magnets! Wonderful array of species and colours, some of them look very real. |
