Thank you! Yes its surprisingly small, especially compared to their huge blue whale. Amazing detail though, one of the best right whale figures.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Some new additions from today and yesterday [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And I wanted to show this cute Pantropical spotted dolphin clicker by K&M. The large rubber and the bulk dolphins by K&M are probably the figures that are highest on my wish list, this one isn't quite as great but still nice to have a K&M dolphin

It was released in 2020 so shouldn't be hard to find. The rest of the set are quite generic species though, some pretty nice sculpts but not the best quality for the figures themselves (very cheap looking). Still a must for the species collector

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]One of the newest additions to my collection, and now the smallest cetacean figure I own, is this adorable Vaquita by a Chinese brand called Naturalism. In the second image you can see it next to the largest figure I have: the Kaiyodo MSA Blue whale. Not only are these my smallest and largest models, they are also the smallest and largest cetacean species respectively, and whats interesting is that they are in the same scale too! I have more interesting figures on the way (including some non-cetacean models for once ) which I will post here when they all arrive.

| Wow! What a great new model and comparison for scales. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I finally managed to find one of the K&M dolphins, the rubber Pantropical spotted dolphin. And earlier, I also found a very similar figure I wasn't even aware of, a K&M rubber beluga (I have 3 of them in fact!). [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And (mostly) non-cetacean related for once, I found a bunch of these small kinda mysterious figures by COG ltd. I had a couple of them since I was a child and sadly lost most of them over time, I really loved them so while I don't collect terrestrial animals, I had to get them for nostalgic reasons. Then I found some sea animals from the same series as well! Some nice models there, I especially love the viperfish. Maybe these are interesting for TAW as well? |
