| My two Safari 260229 Mamenchisaurus have an asymmetrical painting. One side has a dotted pattern and the other not. On one animal, the dots draw curves like being seen on butcher poster of pork. Weird! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| The one we can see at the wiki from Christophe's collection looks really different. I find that figure absolutely wonderful and it surely was an impressive creature. Lucky you of having two. |

| I'd be interested to see the imprint stamp text on the bottom of each replica. This might give a clue as to which one is older or closer to the original version. I would guess the top one with yellow feet is older because the one with the "butcher" lines on it seems like a simplification of the other paint application. The asymmetry is so weird though! |
