| Leopards must be very cautious for not be detected until they are enough close to attack. This is an unlucky leopard that made any noise or let itself exposed, so the ibex saw it from enough distance even for stare looking at him for some seconds.
By the way, what is this Nubian ibex figure? I was totally unaware of it! _________________ My collection:- (Details):

| .. apparently, it's not from Elastolin/ Lineol/ Pfeiffer.. so I don't know the brand but it seems to have been the model Mr massat, the sculptor from Starlux, used for his alpine ibex: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

If [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] the Starlux model was inspired in the old Elastolin. Though, I'll let it to our experts of vintage figures. |

Thank you Rogério for this useful link! :) I don't think it is a Hausser elastolin, something in the neck and the "beard" under the belly isn't Hausser. It let me think of a Swiss Straubolin. You can see one HERE |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] It is indeed Straubolin. The metal antlers instead of also being composition also makes it more obvious. The truth is that it was necessary to dedicate a post to catalog all the ibex that the composition brands have manufactured... There are many -with many colored variations in turn- and most of them have very similar poses... |

| That last picture seems to tell the story of a leopard that was spotted and is now trying to look like he wasn't interested to begin with. Beautiful shots as always! |

| This is PERFECT !!!! The way you use differnet models : The leopard sneaks forward with her tail low, but then she leaves, she holds her tail high : " I don't care, and I am not hungry ! HMPF !!! " Addition : I see that Jill noticed the same |
