| If I was not a crocodile, I'd love to be a hippo. Many great figures. I know you are a fan of the Papo hippo, I also love it a lot but, if you only know the newer CollectA hippo from pictures, you must check it in real. It is in my opinion one of the most perfect figures of ever, I almost can't believe we can get it for less than 10 Euros. |

| You right Rogério but it's hard to check in real since CollectA models are very difficult to find in France and that's why I only have the Papo one available everywhere here!
Did you see? I added some monochromatic hippos! :) |

| I really enjoy your collection photos with all those small figures in lines, much different than what I'm used to. It also takes me back in time and unlike Christophe I'm a nostalgic guy. |

| It is fun that you collect a lot of things from modern to Singapore and not the Starlux 53. It is a mystery for me |

as always Alain, your collections are very impressive :) I am very impressed Thank you Annette, Like you I enjoy the "mass effect" of herds and you're right, these Omo models are good and far more realistic than the other models of the range! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] just to compare with the indian rhino en the left!.. :) |

for me too!.. maybe because I never played with when I was a child.. When I discovered the 1953 Starlux production later, I never was tempted to get them and prefered to get Clairet ones they hardly tried to imitate! The Singapore ones are rather bad too, but I played with.. It's also the story of a collection: at the beginning, only Starlux of the great period!.. then I discovered some foreign brands productions like Elasto or Britains, then, by nostalgy, I found back old Singapore, Omo or Prior but it's right that I never had the desire to get first Starlux or other old french brands except for models I juge beautiful or of interesting (for me!) species.. But even if not collected, I am interested by, for they leak sometimes wonderful models!.. :) |

| Great to see these hippo comparisons. The Singapore hippos look like copies of Timpo. It's interesting that the East Asian companies didn't copy the Britains hippo, or at least I don't remember to ever have seen a copy. |
