Yes it would be very interesting to have a toob by a company like Safari Ltd as we can see very well on this realization each species has its specifications ...
it would be difficult to choose, moreover I have undertaken to make two other species again .......
It would be more judicious to introduce some of the most famous hornbill in the standard figurines of each brand ...

Here are some new birds, caught in my nets!
Made in china, Nayab.
After having inventoried them I will customize them inspired by NandO and photos on the web with a new paint and appearance.
No doubt some new species for my shelves

Thanks a lot my friends. I started the painting project some will remain the original species, and others new.

I look forward to seeing what you do with them, it's always so exciting to get a new box of figures to work with, especially if they're a new breed/species to add to the collection.

In model horse world we refer to these batches bought specially to repaint as 'bodies', which sounds really morbid, like they arrive dead and only being painted gives them life!

It's been a long time since I posted anything in this subject here are my last additions of Santa Claus birds.
I would post more individual pictures of the figures later.

Oh, such a feathered Christmas! I see you use a macaw as a star, I would suggest a hoopoe or a yellow-crested cockatoo instead.
Everything is so beautiful, I hope your festive season is wonderful too.

There is a hoopoe and a cockatoo in the tree indeed, tough the cockatoo is salmon-crested and not yellow (sulphur) crested :)

Your collection and bird knowledge and artistic skill are all amazing!
