| Here are two new faces for my collection! Two magnificent Papo that I bought in duplicate, to give a new species for my collection! the magpie and the robin. Here is the result [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A pirolle from Taiwan and a nightingale from Japan |

| Oh, that Taiwan blue magpie is absolutely perfect! The same for that little guy, the robin mould has a lot of potential and you can turn it into loads of different species but again, your blue magpie just kills me. |

| Clever elections. Before reading the text under the photo I tought it was the much better known red-billed blue magpie (Urocissa erythrorhyncha), but you chose the Formosan blue magpie (U. caerulea) that is much less known, despite that it's casually the first of the two that I saw in captivity (in 2006) but I didn' get a photo of it for my collection. I find intriguing the name "pirolle" for the Formosan blue magpie. Also very curious the use of "nightingale" for the Pekin robin, because it's exactly the same common name that we use in Spanish ("ruiseñor japonés") in avicultural circles for this so extremely well known and common cagebird species, despite not being related with nightingales nor being native to Japan. _________________ My collection:- (Details):

| Yes I obviously knew that the only real name of an animal (or plant or whatever) is the scientific name, but we was talking only about common names here :)
Very neat image of the Pekin robin, it's a gorgeous bird that I like a lot, tough I always like much more the other species of the genus :)
The use of a robin sculpt for this species is very clever, they share the same stocky, "neckless" built and the small, straight bill :) _________________ My collection:- (Details):
