Special and Belated Post For 24 Juli '20


Flifla is a young and cheerful Fae girl. She loves to play and dance and is very sociable. She has many friends and goes to the Fae school almost every day. She loves to learn!
The adult Fae are all very fond of her, because she is obedient and kind to everyone she meets. She is also very sweet to the animals around her and loves to tend flowers and trees.
She sings very prettily and flowers turn to hear her songs.

Special and Betaled Post For 25 Juli '20

Kingsday

Everything is decorated in orange. Orange flags, orange streamer, orange saddle cloth, orange everything. The stable organises games and events and a few ponies are displayed on the market in the village.
It is Kings Day, a Dutch national holiday. The Dutch celebrate their King’s birthday with festivities, games and flea markets.

Niklas and Tinka went to the local flea market together. They returned to the stables after to help with the festivities. They are both in a very good mood.

The stables are very well visited on days like these. Children and adults alike have a lot of fun and the mood is always festive.

Very Belated Post For 26 Juli '20


Buzzie is a bird of the plains. He is rather silly, but also very observant. He has a rather morbid sense of humour. He is quite sociable, but has a tendency to tease a lot. No one takes him very seriously, due to this.
He is close befriended to Ziggy. Though Ziggy sometimes seems to be annoyed with him. This is because Buzzie can be quite loud at times

Very Belated Post For 27 Juli '20


Klud is one of Soaren’s small chicks. He is a very loud and curious young Great Owl and he wants to know everything. He is always asking his father ‘why?’
He and his sister Marella are still full time in their father’s nest. When Soaren goes out for what ever reason, they are usually baby sat by a Fae. Klud does not mind this. He likes playing with the Fae and loves listening to their tales. He also is very keen to learn from them.

Very Belated Post for 28 Juli '20


Klud is one of Soaren’s small chicks. She is much more shy than her twin brother Klud. She is gentler and much more polite. But she also holds back from socialising with the Fae a lot.
She will have more to learn when she flies the nest.

Very Belated Post For 29 Juli '20


No one knows exactly what Saiken is. And no one truly knows who’s side he is on.
He lives in the mountains, though he avoids the dragons. It is said he has been seen with the beastlings, as well as the Fae.
Saiken seems not to be very civilised. He sleeps in a cave and holds no personal possessions. The dragons also say he has no firm grasp on the common tongue.

The beastlings come to him to talk, but the dragons are not sure if he will truly ally himself with them. This will remain to be seen.

Very Belated Post For 30 Juli '20


Sirenella is a slow and gentle creature. She lives in a sweet water lagoon near the mountains.
She is not very bright, but very kind. She has no a bad bone in her body and takes her life slowly. Most of the goings on pass her by anyway. She is fine with things going to way they go, as long as she has enough to eat and a peaceful place to float.

Flotsa is one of the inland sea’s mermaidens. She is gentle and kind and loves to sing. She often sits on the beach to let her siren songs be heard. She lures in many a creature, who will sit with her and listen to her songs for as long as she will sing.
This is why she has so many friends, because she makes sure to always listen to those who come to listen to her.
Her best friend is the halfbreed unicorn Luana.

Summer Camp

The summer is everyone’s favourite time at the stables. That is of course because of summer camp.

The lessons are stopped over the summer and most leasing contracts end as well. The usual schedule is totally scrapped and instead activities and festivities are held full week around, except for sunday.

Children and adults alike can sign up.
Events last for a week, for five weeks in the summer holidays. Each person that gets signed up gets assigned their ‘own’ horse for the week. Horses are of course assigned to experience appropriate riders.
The camp goers are sorted in groups by age and experience and are attended by the stablehands and a group of helping parents.

There are a lot of fun events, like rides in the woods, horseback games and a beauty pageant.
There will also be workshops and contests.
The last day of camp is water day. That day horses and riders alike get to cool down with water themed games and a ride to the local lake.

Lunch, snacks and drinks will be provided, but dinner is optional, but must be paid for.

So many belated new friends. I enjoyed particularly seeing the alpacas.

Much belated Post for 2 August '20


Soren is a Great Owl of renown strength and wisdom. He is well respected among all inhabitants of our valley. He also has a good relationship with the Fae.
Despite being a great warrior, Soren was unable to defend his mate from the Beastlings. He will never truly forgive himself for this, but gentles his heart for his owlettes. He knows he has to be his best self for them. This is not always easy, but for Klud and Marella he manages to do it.
He’ll teach them all he knows and how to be great warriors when it is their time. Though he hopes this time will be a good while away yet.

Much Belated Post for 3 August 2020


Starla is a young Trakehner Filly. She is still very shy and sticks to her mother like glue. She is Autumn’s first foal, but she is evidently well loved. Autumn is very sweet, but also very protective. She won’t leave Starla out of her sight for a second.
Starla stays with her mother 24/7, most in the stable, but they are let out in the meadow when the weather is nice. Autumn will try to run about a little, but Starla is glued to her side. She never gets upset with her filly, though.
Starla’s father is the stallion Tybalt. She has not yet interacted with any other foals, so we do not know yet who her friends will be.


Starla is a member of the herd of the Brothers. She is still a junior member and is exempt from the herd rules.
Her parents are Tybalt and Autumn.

Much Belated Post for 4 August 2020

Eala is a swan living nearby the stables. She swims in the ditches behind the stables and the lake they lead up to.
The people are very careful with her, considering she is rather aggressive. They give her a wide berth.
She seems to have a mate, though not yet a nest.


Eala is a rather arrogant swan, nesting on the edge of the river of our valley. She keeps to herself and her mate, looking down and ducks and geese. She is aggressive in defending her nest and her cygnets.
Not many other animals like her.
She is mated to Odanus.

Pacifica is a good tempered Friesian mare with a little mischievous streak. She is not yet very old and only recently started her specialisation training for pulling team and knightly games.
She is being trained in the ways of natural horsemanship. She takes to this very well. She enjoys working and can be a slight show off.
But she also enjoys being in the meadow. Her best friends are Elsa, Nightmare and Prestyn. She is most often put together with the other friesians and gets into little mischiefs with Nightmare.
With the stallion Roman, she has a yearling filly named Kuro. She has recently birthed a second filly named Varna.


Pacifica is one of the beautiful mares of the Pendragon herd. She turns almost every head when she walks by, along with her best friends Nightmare and Philipah.
She is gentle, sweet and very motherly. She is very open and always honest. She is well liked and has a great many friends, even in some other herds.
She is mated with the exiled Prince Roman Pendragon. With him she has two fillies named Kuro and Varna.

Tara is a slightly spoiled Hanoverian mare. She is a well versed dressage mare and owner tends to spoil her a little too much at times. It makes her moody at times and she doesn't get along well with all horses. She also doesn't like any of the stable hands.
With the Hanoverian gelding Gerion, before he was gelded, she has one Filly. His name is Joanna. She also has two sisters, called Elaine and Camilla.
Tara comes out in international competitions. She has won a few prizes, but not overly much.


Tara lives with Man beyond the Fog. She is not one of their fastest horses, but she has a good stamina. Man values her for that. She brings them on their longer journeys.
She is mated to Gerion. With him she has one filly named Joanna. She has two sisters, Elaine and Camilla.

Next time you name a swan use Joutsen. It is the word in Finnish language to this beautiful bird and it is quite different from the Germanic words which are all almost the same.

Much Belated Post for 7 August 2020


Honeydew is one of the strange fragrant unicorn fillies that are quite new to our valley. She spreads the delightful scent of watermelon where ever she goes. She is very sociable and friendly and very very curious.
She is closest to Rimava.
We do not know where these foals come from and Honeydew is most certainly not wont to answer our questions. Maybe because she is too young, but maybe also because she wants to keep her secrets.

Valentina is a weaned unicorn filly, belonging to the Royal Unicorn herd. We are not sure who her mother is, but it likely is Thistle. It is certain her father is Calydor.
She is sweet and outgoing and has a great many friends. She is even very friendly with the fae and pixies.

Macapuno is one of the fruit unicorn foals. It is not sure if this foal is a colt of a filly. This because of their hard, nutshell like exterior, which yields no hint of their sex.
They do not correct anyone on their pronouns and simply are content to play with the other foals. None of the other fruit foals are very fussed about it, too.
They are a very polite, but emotionally distant individual and prefer to keep their secrets closely guarded.

Rimava is an outgoing and talkative fruit unicorn filly. She is very friendly and well liked. But she has a sickness. If she stays out in the sun too much, she becomes disoriented and her speech starts to slur.
She has been brought to several healers and the Dragons have been able to tell that her blood undergoes a sort of fermentation process when exposed to the sun for too long. So we all take good care to give her enough shade.

Verna is a sassy, witty but still very friendly unicorn filly. She is outgoing and likes to explore. She even sometimes goes places she isn’t actually allowed. She is very cheeky and has a witty comment for everything.
She isn’t super popular because of her big mouth, but is still well liked. Because despite her sass, she is very helpful and good at a lot of things.

Cedric is a badger, who lived in the woods nearby the stables. He used to have a mate, but she sadly got into an accident with a car. With her he has two cubs named Koot and Bie. He still takes care of them.
He is spotted, from time to time, when people ride in the woods. He is elusive, but not particularly shy. He just likes to be left on his own. He reacts slightly aggressive when people choose to approach him. He is not tagged for this reason and usually he is left to his own devices.


Cedric is a loud busy body badger. He is a widower with two cubs to take care of. And he lets everybody know.
He does not like being bothered and he often thinks his two cubs, Koot and Bie are a lot of work. He can barely wait for them to move out.
But most of all, he is broken hearted from the loss of his mate. He has lost her to the beastlings and has not recovered from it.

Much Belated Post for 13 August 2020


Babble is one of the squirrels that live around the area of the stables. The stablehands see her often and are able to distinguish her from the other squirrels. They leave out snacks and leave her be otherwise.
She keeps to herself and seems to be on her own.


Babble is one of the many busy, chatty squirrels in our valley. She is very sociable and every opportunity she can to talk our ear off.
She also enjoys eating a lot, spending most of her time chowing down on nuts and fruits.
She is unmated.

Much Belated Post for 14 August 2020

Toddrick lives in the pond of the Perenbaum’s house. The children are always very happy to see him on the edge of the pond, but know not to touch him.
He does his own little thing in the pond and the garden.


Toddrick lives in one of the many small ponds on the edge of the forest. He mostly minds his business, living in the water and on the edge of the pond. He is small enough to let the world slip past him for the most part.
And we leave him in peace.

Much Belated Post for 15 August 2020


Midas is a solid gold unicorn colt. We have no idea where he has come from. He has simply come down from the mountains one day.
He tends to be a bit haughty, but he is not truly unfriendly. He has made a good few friends already. He also says to have strong magic, but this has yet to be demonstrated. He boasts of being able to turn things into gold, that he too is made of solid gold. We have some doubt in either statements, but tested neither out yet.
