The horses, - I will love to tell aboy them

The buckskin coloured one, Freya, is the only one that is really mine.
She is a pure bred Icelandic mare, and a foal after my Blue-eyed-cream riding mare Albina, who unfortunately went to the eternal grass fields some years ago at the age of 24.
Freya is 13 years old. Her favorite gait is pace. I have seen her go gallop, even if it is a pacey gallop, and also something that is almost tölt, but she can not go trot.
So she has never been ridden, as slow pace is very uncomfortable, - she is just my beloved, sweet lawnmover

Little Spotty is a miniature knabstrupper, 26 years old.
He was originally approved as a stallion, but developped a slightly stiff joint in one of his hind legs, so the permission to be in stud was cancelled, and he was gelded.
He came to stay here for a couple of months when he was 7 - 8 years old, - and I have never seen the owners since, - so I suppose he is mine now

Bodil is a bay roan Belgian draught, and belongs to my neigbours.
She has been living here for 5 years and is about 12 years old.
She is so immensely strong and a little nervous, but fortunately also very gentle.
I love her dearly, but am also happy she is not mine, because I am not strong enough to handle her if she gets frightened or such...

And the churchgoers from Plaho...quite interesting that Plaho made other models than animals

I think the bear is repainted, and he might have been a sun bear ?

The monkey immediately discovered some friends : The "young monkey" from Elastolin, a pre-war and a post-war variation. I wonder how old Metal monkey is ?

Now comes the big decition : Where do we put Peterkin's models in TAW ?
Peterkin does not make models, but distributes brands from others [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] .

The birds, for instance, are the ones we use to call Nayab, - or perhaps Toyway, Delprado, or....

The Britains black bear is officially a Himalayan black bear: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The grazing cow looks very similar to a later plastic Britains cow: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I suspect it is the earlier Britains led version.

The Saluki is indeed wonderful!

After all these years collecting, Taylor was the first finding a Saluki to your collection, party time with heavy metal and all. I loved the short stories about "your" horses!
About the Peterkin models, if they haven't anything to distinguish from the Nayab or other known manufacturers, I think a link to the corresponding models are enough.

Last week I saw that there was a new Breyer Stablemate Icelandic horse On MPF

It is a glow-in-the-dark model and in a set of four !!!
How terrible !!!!!  
Then I had to buy FOUR models  

The colour seems to be Sabino-paint, which does not exist in the Icelandic breed, but sabinoes usually have four high, white socks, so it must just be some manufacture-invented colour

I did not have a have a heavy SM horse, so ....

That foal is the cutest ever, - and fits so well to the roan one I already have...

First , The Breyers glow in the dark, very rare.

Susanne, after all these years I am learning some strategies with you. My last batch of four arrivals started like this. I was searching the cheapest option to buy the Eofauna straight-tusked elephant. I thought it was MPV but later I've found Alcaiceria as a cheaper option for me. Meanwhile, a good friend promised to send the Eofauna model as a gift and, as I've found the Safari sable available on that Spanish shop, I used it as a good excuse to use the money saved with the prehistoric elephant. Automatically I thought like someone I know, and obviously the sable needed some friends. Thus, both CollectA sables and lion were surely perfect partners. Ironically, I was later informed that the Safari sable was not available and instead of giving up, once that was the leader of these friends, I used it as a good excuse to get the king cheetah. Susanne, I hope I am being a good pupil, even if it is in a shorter extent.
From your beautiful story, I only am not understanding why a crocodile was needed on it.

Yes, I remember that video. The way they leap is actually quite artistic. The way they hunt is impressive. The way they mate is surprisingly gentle or the way mothers carry their babies is so meticulous and lovely. Crocodiles are really special animals and CollectA wanted to show a little of it. I have the newer Mojö Fun model as my next crocodilian target or I'd surely get this one.
