| Wonderful to see the three musketeers together. They're surely different but each one is interesting on its own way. I only have the Schleich model, a little chubby but still the most pleasing to me. Papo or Mojö should replicate with a Tarpan. It is extinct but dodos and thylacines are either. |

| I love Przewalski's horse very very much since I was a little child. My grandparents had been working for two years in Mongolia in '80. Because of them I learned about animals like this horse, yaks and camels... Congratulations for having these nice models Taylor - SUSANNE wrote:

We surely need a Tarpan May I share something interesting what I saw last year.. ? :) Some of you know , that I was in Munich and met Yvette there :) She brought me to Tierpark Hellabrunn, this is the zoo in Munich. And there we saw a ''German Tarpan'' or '' Heck horse'' . Please check Wikipedia because Munich zoo is famous with this horse :) Taylor, I hope you don`t mind if I share some photos .. :) And here they are ( my photos ) : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And we also saw Przewalski's horses : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And I don`t know if you can see on my poor photos , with Heck horses , there are also some cattle ( far behind) laying down... These are actually ''Aurochs'' ...or at least they claimed to resemble the extinct Aurochs ... And of course these are much smaller ... |

| Wonderful pictures, Costa, - whos an unique time you and Yvette must have had Just in case somebody may not know already : The Tarpan is extinct many years ago, and the Heck horses are reconstructions .... but BEAUTYFUL The Konik-horse from Poland was thought to have Tarpan ancestors, but genetic tests show that it is not so We often see Icelandic horses with that colour also, and the old type could really look like Tarpans with the low neck, which has now almost been bred out of them. But the Przewalski horse was saved at the very last moment, and an interesting thing is that it not the same species as the domestic horse !!! For instance, domestic horses have 66 cromosomes, but Prezewalski horses have 67 ! So the Przewalski horse is not an ancestor to the domestic horse ; they have evolved separately |

I agree. I am not at all a 'horse guy' but I do like Przewalski's horse. Mine is by Safari, but as widukind said, they are all great |
