| At last , at last , a few PAPO reached the French shop and some of them reached my home. I know you already saw him but I can't resist to show you my new Asian elephant Elephas maximus / Scale 1/22 to 1/35

| Congratulations Cristophe for this Asian Elephant, it is great. The only thing that looks strange are the tusk, are those tusk really that white or it is because of the picture.
Any way it is a great model and definitely on my wish list since I start with Papo thanks to you.

| I do like this female elephant and the sculpting look fine and do compare with Schleich. For me I like the Schleich female more. |

| thank you all By the way, the PAPO is not exactly a female... The SChleich female is fine and since the PAPO bull is at home, she left the SCHLEICH male... Life is hard sometimes |

| Beautiful figure! JUST TOO SMALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why couldn't they just have made the elephant 6 1/2" tall and 8 1/2" long instead of 3.75" tall and 6.25" long? WHY? WHY? WHY? It's not that much bigger than what they made, and it would look a heck of a lot better if placed near some of the other figures! *Also, female Asian elephants don't have large external tusks! |

| Right, but they purposely made him with a baby... Therefore, they wanted to have a mother and baby set.

| Congratulation, Christophe Very fine figuere and fabulous photoes, - WOW Only I miss the courage to paint an Indian elefant with the pink /spotted areas. Courage like Joan has when he gives his rhino a reddish-brown sheen. But perhaps children ( or their moms) think it is not nice looking [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| First, congratulations for another fantastic review walk arround, Christophe! I don't see nothing wrong when a brand puts a baby with a male parent! ...and I'm not seeing any female in your pictures, I see the Schleich Asian male and he looks pregnant! About the Papo figure, is great but I think it could be much better, of course a big improovment comparing with the old Schleich figures, but not as nice as I expected! :) |

| I remember we had talked about, but I had to bring it up again, because I wanted to remind everyone how STUPID it is to make a calf with a female with large tusks! I'm sure the Papo production team didn't take the time to research that female Asian elephants don't have big tusks. They meant for it to be a mom and baby! My motto is, "Do it right or don't do it at all"! As you know I love Papo, but they blew it on this one! |

| I stick with my motto "Do it right, or don't do it at all!". I wish they had never even made the figure, rather than be disappointed and have to deal with all it's errors! |
