RAE Icebear and Koala?

I found this animals marked with RAE 1972. Hong Kong.

It is very interesting. Apparently we don't know the koala yet. We have a page on TAW here!

The Koala was also made for Prior in France, like the Polar bear indeed.

I suspect RAE, Prior and Azur to be the same HK company.

I like your thinking Kikimalou . . . I have an Rae horse which I though I'd put here years ago, but two are on my blog (Unknown Horses) last of the three, it is in the same dense but soft vinyl/PVC of some of my Prior's and too small in scale for the Noah's Arks so probably a 1:64th (US 'HO') horse-box/transporter or farm playset?

I also have a common polyethylene hippo which has the readable remains of the Rae mark obliterated on the tool - presumably from an Arco or ex-Arco/generic Noah set?

Makes sense in case one of these 'companies' was ever taken to court for copyright infringes the other two can still churn out the same old stuff.

The Polar bear is clearly 'inspired' by the early Britains plastic version.
