I wasn't even aware of that one, it's nice and seems compatible with the Kitan which is on my wishlist so maybe a mate for the wedding-planner I am.

Although monkeys are generaly associated with warm areas, japanese monkey live in a temperated one and I always thougt it would be wonderful if we had non human primates everywhere in European areas and not only on Gibraltar Rock!

Your pictures with Schleich Snow leopard are very good too, in spite of its caricatural painting fortunatly subdued by sun. The model perfectly looks in its biotop there! I like the sculpting of this model and particulary its beautiful head so I already repainted 3 of them on a very easy way.. cheers

They are not at the same size, Kitan is bigger.

Ok. Anyway, Kitan is my favourite.

A lot of older models don't get much attention anymore because of their dated artistic style and lack of realism. I love older charming models. Some of the oldest Schleich just have loads of character. This panda is one of them.

I have this panda, I have always been disturbed by its green eyes but still a very decent vintage.
