Its been a day or two since I uploaded! Between working a ton and the weather I haven't been able to go photograph... my shoot didn't turn out how I wanted it to (recent wild rain storms ruined my ideas) but here we go again. Uploads just might be less regular.

Great photos. I only have a knock-off of this model. I am not so fond of it, but seeing your photos, I think I should look for the original Schleich version.

Now I notice that Schleich elephant could fit my size needs, it have a good head he just need a much bigger body for the same head

I think the second shot really shows off the head of this model and how GREAT it is. Sadly as is the case with many schleich elephants the body is reduced, especially the legs. I haven't really thought much of the Schleich elephants before besides the oldest ones that I love, but this photo set changed my mind quickly. Glad I have this topic theme so I can show off models and change MY OWN mind.

Being my day off, I decided to share this display despite it not being complete. Hopefully in the coming months, especially since my shelves are coming up on their cleaning date again, this display will change a lot as I make adjustments. But for now, this is the new home for my amphibians.
Their display lives between farmlife and prehistoric shelves.

I love the display, I'm a big fan of amphibians. Is that golden poison dart frog one of Safari's? it looks like a repaint of their other models, I didn't know they had a golden one!

In this display , your amphibian animals look very good.

Variety and color. I like the salamander large.

Yes that one! I didn't know they came out with a TOOB, I had all the other frogs that I purchased separately in a toy store years ago and I thought that was all they ever made. The sira poison dart frog in the TOOB looks like a new one too, thank you! Good to know

ooh your axolotlys are beautiful!! what a wonderful collection and I like how you have colour coded them on the shelves. Your elephant photo captures the light magnificently, especially in the 2nd photo. You have a good eye!

Your Amphibian display looks like spring! Where did you get these "stairs" for your shelves? They are very interesting..

Kostas, the risers are supposed to be bamboo spice shelf organizers... I'd rather spend money on figures than official acrylic collection displays. I have a bunch more frogs coming so the display will be changing soon again!

Next update is here! The old Schleich wobbegong, not only a favorite species but a long awaited model for me.

I have this wobbegong too (and I splurged and bought the coral reef/diver set thingy just to get it!).

Ah! So you have the new one Blaine! Mine is the original release and is more greenish in color. Someday I hope to have a specimen of the newer one for comparison's sake.
