| Also, Aschuck, the nothosaurus does not appear to have a moveable jaw. It looks solid in the photo. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | I also seen the dinosaurs now, except the Styracosaurus. They have nice sculpts and a very good painting. Not so surreal like some 2020 ones (Brontosaurus). |

| A lot more pics are now on that wholesale site. Nothing is better than what is already available, I'm afraid.
Looks like I'll only be getting the scorpion, so far (and that's only because it's an arthropod). The iguana's sculpt is not bad, but I don't like the color. |

| The Malayan tapir doesn’t look too bad in my opinion, I can’t see the images well because I’m on my phone and there is a glare where I am. I really wish we could have gotten a less common tapir species, but Schleich seems to love remaking figures that were beautiful in the first place. I actually really like the iguana, the way it’s painted especially. The sculpt looks a bit chunky to me, I wish the tail was longer and thinner, but much better than what I expected! The stork looked okay _________________ Jolie

| I think most of the figures look ok. Its hard to judge quality on such smallerish photos. Still a heavily cute style but I will be getting some of them. Some of the horses look a bit better to me upon first glance! _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Indeed, a lot of pictures have been revealed on the site! Very disappointed by the horses which are too realistic ... A lot of remodeling of old molds it seems ... _________________ My website:study: My YouTube [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] My Instagram ^^ |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I agree completely, I'm so used to seeing just a bright green iguana, I see these colors much more often in the wild and I like that they chose that paint palette. _________________ Jolie

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Yes, the color isn't inaccurate, I just don't care for it. I like having more 'typical' representatives for a synoptic collection. - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] wrote:

the slow loris, puma, and baby tapir haven't been revealed yet |

| For me, these are all just Ok. Nothing super special. I appreciate the iguana in a different color scheme, the afghan is actually pretty nice, I like the color for the bull terrier but its a bit cartoony in the face, and the tapir has nice movement. The 3 determining judgement for the brand as a whole this year (for me) are the 3 not shown yet. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Really pleased with most of the horses myself. Not too many extra long limbs or mane that will get in the way of a saddle. I think the Oldenburg stallion is my fave from these pics. Now just waiting to see the rest of the fantasy creatures and the puma. |

| Have to see a few in hand first, as usual. But I'm interested in a few like the tapir, iguana, cat, ice and fire tiger. Hope to see the slow loris, puma and tapir calf soon. _________________ ~Karin~

| It bothers me how the hind legs of the Nothosaurus are posed, I hope it looks better in person. Can anyone PM me an image of the mandrill?
Edit: Received it, thank you so much!
I expected the mandrill to look better but it's fine I suppose. The scorpion is neat, I probably would prefer Mojö's version as an adult collector but the bluntness is perfect for safe play so definitely perfect for children. The Malayan tapir is cute, at least a better option than CollectA's Baird's tapir in disguise for this Asian species, but I still miss Schleich's old version. The farm ragdoll cat's fur texture is pretty great. I like the stork's thin legs but seeing it now I'd likely get both the Schleich and the Papo version. The iguana is just great, love the colours, we usually get the more popular morph of the green iguana so this is a welcome addition.

| Wow, the dogs have been revealed!! I think I'll save most of my comments for when official larger photos are released, but I was so happy when I saw them, I really do think Schleich are making a bit more of an effort with their dogs- it's almost as if they got a new sculptor since 2021, the 2020 models and those before then were very different- mostly small and lacking details! Definitely the highlight of the day, it's always so exciting seeing the newcomers from the big brands- and especially the dogs! I just love the goldendoodle and greyhound (although it seems to be an afghan), especially how they aren't a solid colour but have varying golden shades. The greyhound/ afghan amazed me the most though, it looks much more like the sort of model you would have found in the better days of Schleich dogs- I'm a bit more positive about the future now for their dogs, I was beginning to doubt seeing any others like they did before in 2019 but last year's poodle and the 3 dogs from this year have definitely given me hope! And I love how they have released not 1, not 2, but 3 dogs, and although they don't make the best dogs of all brands anymore, these are certainly among the best I've seen from Schleich in a long time! |
