| So many new amazing Garratt repaints! The simple pattern on the Galileo Hernandez Europasaurus fits the calm pose, along with the low vegetation of the base. The subtle red on the Andrew Sides Carnotaurus creates a nice new spin on the classic colour scheme. The Galileo Hernandez Lotosaurus is simple and nice, interesting to see another variation, as Martin Garratt has painted this figure before, I really like the base he created for this one. The green on Manuel Bejarano's Yinlong model makes it blend perfectly with the vegetation, creating a beautiful diorama that is relaxing to look at. The adjutant-like colours on the Aaron Doyle Pterodaustro work surprisingly well, adding the base to show it filter feeding was also a great idea. The soft blend Garratt gave the Manuel Bejarano Hyperodapedon is just perfect for a small animal such as this rhynchosaur. The Wild Safari Giganotosaurus is a huge improvement, though I feel like all repaints of this figure are, the added plants also vastly improve the quality. The PNSO figures both turned out absolutely mindblowing, I especially love the Livyatan, he made the whale look old and experienced, the base also has this cold sea feeling to it, it's just so cool, I can totally imagine it hunting great white sharks, seals and whatnot, the Himalayasaurus has also been improved by a great bit, the coastal themed base fits it so well, looking at the photos makes me feel like I am swimming beside the giant ichthyosaur. The CollectA Caviramus repaint just screams Martin Garratt, a lot of his signature techniques being combined on it, the warm colours of the crest really pop in contrast to the blueish grey pycnofibers, overall just really fun to look at. Congrats on receiving these masterpieces, your collection is truly impressive and blessed with some beauties. |

| Thank you Burgerenby for your personal and detailed analysis. If Martin reads this post, it will certainly make him happy. It is true that he always does a real work of craftsmanship on each of the figurines (small or large). In addition, the traces of seams visible on the PNSO figurines have disappeared "as if by magic". |

| They surely look great and it is not common to see a replica of an Ophiacodon. Thanks for sharing. |

| WONDERFUL JOB I have the scaphonyx and still need to paint it, the lotosaurus and Ynlong are on my wishlist for a long time, alas my wallet is smaller than my heart. The Himalayasaurus, the Lyviatan and Caviramus are just out of this world |

| What an interesting cololur choice for the Anzu, it makes it look so real, like one can imagine this dinosaur being encountered on a crop field like a pheasant. The Ophiacodon feels simple yet classic, reminding me of the Dimetrodon toy by Kenner. The dire wolf looks quite nice with its base, given how far their range went, some populations could have still had fur colouration similar to grey wolves, at least in the north, despite them being closer related to jackals than to wolves. |

| Hi, Here I am back with no less than 15 miniatures painted, repainted or somewhat modified. I wish you a pleasant visit. Let's start if you want with the painted miniatures : Wild past stegouros [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]David Krentz ekrixinatosaurus [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Shapeways ouranosaurus [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]David Krentz andesaurus [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Shapeways isisaurus [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Shapeways diplocaulus [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Continuons avec les figurine repeintes : Collecta amargasaurus : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]collecta bajadasaurus [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]collecta dimetrodon [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Collecta rhomaleosaurus [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]safari kronosaurus [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]safari dimetrodon [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The visit ends with a repainted and modified figurine. This is the dimetrodon from papo which originally only has 4 fingers in the hind limbs. Anatomically speaking this seems incorrect. At my request, Martin added the 5th finger. I will add in this category the tylosaurus from PNSO which, like other figurines from this company, has unsightly visible seams. After "treatment", these disappeared. Papo dimetrodon [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]PNSO Tylosaurus [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I hope this has you more, I await your comments and other reactions. Thanks. See you later. |

| Great work optimizing figures that are already great and taking them to the next level. It is like visiting a miniature museum of Natural History. |

| They're all beautiful, the colours are so rich and detailed, and although we can't say 'realistic' with animals nobody's ever seen alive to compare, they have a look of reality to them, interpretations which seem plausible and lifelike. |

| I've never seen trilobite models (are they sculpts or casts?) painted up in colours before, which made me realise I've never even thought of real life trilobites in colour before, despite collecting them and having read books about them - what a wonderful idea! |

| Thank you for your comments.
Regarding trilobites the designer's site says this:
"These models are the result of a direct scan of a well preserved fossils. It retains a lot of the details that are not often perserved intact. |

| Beautiful models! I don't usually find them the most exciting animals, but these trilobites are absolutely amazing. |

Ahh, yes, I'd forgotten that the modern equivalent of casting would be to scan things, that would certainly be an easier way of making perfect copies these days. I'm too old for this technology to seem normal yet, and often forget it exists |
