| Miniland is a Spanish brand of educational toys and every kind of toys! As I told in another tread it has not a high quality but it could be nice to people that collect every brands or even those like me who is collecting species! The range of plastic animals has been the same along the years and here are the pages related with the subject of this forum. :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]If you are interested in any figure pm me andI try to find it for you... I'm trying to find the fox for my collection and a donkey for another friend of the forum, if I find it I show in Miniland wolf topic. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

| Thanks friends! Susanne, the catalogue only says macaco (monkey), I don't know which species! As some of you also collect people I confess that Miniland impressed me with the disabled people series, those are from a regular scale and it has a educational purpose! Isn't it interesting??? ...or this is usual in other brands? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Those people-series are just awesome Gosh, so much fun for children to play with, it seems they came round a lot of both nationalities, jobs and even handicaps , - yes, it is most unusual ! It is a brilliant idea ! Here in Denmark there is a tendecy to deny that people are different. Fortunately it is helping a bit with the way most are almost scared at handicapped people, - just last night there was a spot about a guy in wheechair, who is a "rapper" and sells a lot of records. He seems to become a role model for a lot of young handicapped people. Those Minilands are really something, Roger !!! Thankyou for letting us get to know them |

Here in Denmark there is a tendecy to deny that people are different. .... most are almost scared at handicapped people, - Yes everyone, you definitely need to be afraid of the handicapped people especially those in wheelchairs ~ they could run over your toes! Now I don't want anyone to get upset a my comment above ~ my husband is in a wheelchair paralized for over 20 years now from an accident at work... so he tries to have a sense of humor about it. He makes comments about "just being lazy that's why he won't get up and walk". For those who would like to know the terminology, if you are in a wheelchair you are a "wheeler" and if you can walk you are an "A. B." (able bodied). Thank you Roger for sharing that company's figures. They have done a great job trying to cover people from many nations and walks of life. ~ Sue |

| Thanks Sue! I also think that these series have an educational sense that is important! I always remember the old and curious old lady asking to a blind man: - Sorry, but how do you make love with your wife??? ...and the blind: - With the lights out!!! |

| The fox does look like the Bullyland, but not exactly, and that is often the reason that other companies get away with copying... |

Thanks Blaine, this collection is probably older than Toy Major's so TM are probably the copies. If you ever need them I can provide you the contact of the shop once it is not a local one. :) |
