| Beautiful additions! Yes, the mouse is stunning. I especially like the way they have made the whiskers. I haven't seen this before in other models.
How do you display your rhinos? Are they all on the same shelf? |

| My rhinos are on different collections, a few are in my "scaled" collection, others are in the fours others: Vintage metal, composition, plastic or monochromatic. For the moment some are unfortunately in boxes because we're in the middle of renovating my home and it's taking much longer than expected. Maybe I'll dedicate a shelf to them, as there are now so many of them and they take up so much space. |

I also found three other celluloid Rhinos, one "big" made in Japan and two smaller ones made by who knows who. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Third batch: a few things from Aliexpress, a Baboon and a Porcupine from Oenux who will complete my 1/30 and 1/25 floor respectively [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Still following the discussion with Rogério, I also invited my first mammal on a scale of 1/1: an adorable JXK mouse. Let's bet more life-size mammals will join her soon. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
And finally the 1/4 TNG Sinosauropteryx, this nice little dinosaur deserved to join my cabinet of curiosities even if it will force me to increase the height my 1/4 floor. I did a walkaround about it [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Congratulations Christophe on all your latest models! As always it is a delight to read about their history and to see the wide range of styles that you collect! The flat models are beautiful with nice detail on them. The pink big swirly rhino is so unusual! I like models like that, that will rarely fit into any conventional collection, yet here they manage to fit in easily. The baboon are porcupine are really nice too, very cute:) And I love the Sinosauropteryx and the dragonfly. Yesterday when I was out walking in the countryside along an earth path thru a shaded grove of very old moss covered trees and bushes I was met by a large beautiful blue dragonfly at the very end of it! There was a tiny lochan (small loch) on this side and the dragonfly was hunting along the edge of the shaded forest area. What a beautiful insect! It's been a long time since I encountered a dragonfly, they are my favourite insects, so I was surprised to see one in October in Scotland! It's around 12 degree days here and chilly at night now. The dragonfly flew around me a couple of times as he proceeded to travel up and down the path. And I love your life size mouse! What beautiful detailing on it with the blue ringed eyes and the whiskers! Such a beauty:) I love mice! |

The pink big swirly rhino is really incredible, I don't know what the sculptor was thinking at the time of designing it I like very much Dragonflies too, I remember seeing some magnificent ones in the south of France when I was still going there, as well as a few in the marshes and ponds of the north. Strangely, I don't have any in my collection, although there are some on my wishlist. Until now, the mouse toys on offer have left me speechless. The JXK made my heart melt |

Wasn't it a Beautiful demoiselle instead? It's a danselfly but it looks so much like a dragonfly. Whatever it is, it is always an exciting sight. |
