Well, I finally finish my sculpt! Woah, it took forever to finish, I have soooo many things to study!

I´m sorry about the photo quality, it´s getting dark now and I´m not a good photographer xD I promise I will update better pics tomorrow, also with Schleich size comparison.

It looks unfinished, I know. I´m not going to paint this one, because I´m going to do resin figurines :)

Only one small question: Shouldn't the tail be fluffier?

Many years ago when I was a teenager I tried to ride a horse in that pose. I fell of, and the stupid beast kicked me on the throat Shocked
It was a small miracle that it did not kill me, but I could not speak for weeks after Laughing
The horse was in a riding school, and they had to get rid of it, - it was dangerous.

Wildheart, mane and tail will have real hair :)

Susanne, what a story! O.o I´m glad you didn´t suffer much damage, but I´m sorry about the other girls. That´s impressive...

Well, new pics!

The horse was going to be a gelding but at the last minute I decided he was going to be a stallion. Now he´s diving in a silicone mold... I only hope he won´t get destroyed! Wish me luck! pale

Thanks a lot my friends!

Roger, in fact I didn´t spent so much time think in "that" detail. Until the last moment it was decided to be a gelding, but then I changed my opinion suddenly :)

I´m going out of the city on the weekend, so I will know about the results sunday night. I can´t wait! ^^

U-oh!

I´m having lots of difficulties with my resin copies... The silicon mold is OK, but not the copies! The resin goes everywhere, with bubbles... First copy was a whole disaster, without hands and full of little bubbles in all his surface! The second one is a bit better, I will have to fix some little bubbles and the very thin base I got, but I think it´s quite acceptable.

Soooo I was planning to sell some copies, but I think I will only sell one or two of them. I don´t think I will do more... Well, I´ll decide when I run out of resin. Not decided yet.

Pics tomorrow, I´m very tired now...

Crying or Very sad

Silvia, first of all a really nice figure, and lloks very difficult to sculpt! congratulations for that!

Second: it's normal to have some problems with the copies. I have not a vacuum tank (are too expensive) so sometimes I have bubles in the surfaces of my animals (well, my rhinos and I hope in my wildebeest soon). I gave some of that copies to my son for playing, or I used for painting test.

I will send you a PM probably tomorrow, with some tips. And of course in Spanish, will be more easy to me XD
