PostSubject: Any advice?   Any advice? EmptySun Jun 26, 2011 8:48 pm

I'd like to repaint one of my schleich horses so it'd look like my mare, Sky. There is a few problems as of yet. I do not know how to exactly go about it. Examples: What kind of paint? Do I need a sealant? Is there a special sort of something that works better than others? Please help?

I use Valejo paints-acrylics. It's good to remove fat from the model before work and use primer. They have also special paints for airbrushing, what can be nice too Very Happy

I recomend washing with some washing-up liquid, it removes the fat very well :)

Very interesting subject.

I suppose we are several of us who are dreaming about making reapints, but don`t really know how to get started... scratch

Perhaps you will tell us how it goes, Missbliss ?

I agree with Sylvia and Anna. Acrylic paints are good to use and yes, wash the model before you paint it!
