Mojo 2023 Aardvark Walkaround With Comparisons

The aardvark I was looking forward to most from Mojo this year and it arrived today!

So here it is:













I only own Schleich's 2023 aardvark, so here is a comparison with that figure:





Here is a comparison with some other African animals: Mojo honey badger, Mojo warthog, & Safari African wild dog



I wish this aardvark had better paintwork and that the ears & tail were a bit longer. It doesn't really look like it has fur but instead wrinkly skin. However, I still really like this model and its a big improvement to Schleich's. I think a repaint of this model would look really great. I do really like the size of this model. Also a neat touch, there is a glossy sheen on the nose so it looks like its wet

Superb! I have Safari's old one and some Nayab, but this easily beats the Schleich in general anyhow (not that Schleich's is bad, jusy 2 very different styles). Congrats!

I wanted so much to see it. Of course I will want one and here is the perfectly sized aardvark. I have the Schleich and the Safari, now I must get the Mojö Fun. I don't know if I like it most than Safari's but surely it is an improvement over the Schleich tube sized figure. I agree with all your observations and thanks for opening this topic.

Such a cool model. Thanks for the comparison with the schleich aardvark. This model is one of my favourites of their releases this year and I definitely want to get it for my collection together with the one from safari. And maybe the schleich as their young.

Is it worth to replace safari ltd aardvark with mojofun?
I haven't seen a comparison between safari & mojo yet in one photo.

Which one has a better color in your opinion?

Both my old friend , the Safari ltd is more greyish and the Mojo more pinky but these kind of subtle differences exists for the real animals. I think the Mojo looks more realistic.
