Very nice cheetahs

Great collection of one of my favourite animals. What is the brand of this one? Is it smaller (shoulder height) than the Play Visions?

Roger-its a New Action Cheetah and its only slightly smaller than the Play visions.

Thanks, it was hard to tell because the photos were taken from opposite sides.

Cheetahs break my silly rules of trying to keep one figure per species. Not that I have a lot and surely not as much as you, not even close, but I can't choose one. I love the current Schleich, the magnificent Papo and I can't get rid of the Bayala model, for instance. We can't forget the CollectA king cheetah, a few of the running ones, especially the PNSO I don't have or the Mojo Fun carrying a baby. The weird thing is that cheetahs are so popular on modern days but they're not so abundant on vintage brands.

.. oh yes, just one from Clairet, Starlux, Ougen..

By these times they were not well known for they couldn't bear captivity and never breed till some were settled in wide enclosures like in the zoo of Montpellier which was the first one to succeed breeding in the sixties! Then, many zoo could exhib cheetas in large areas (Thoiry..) :)

Yes,Cheetahs so much more popular now that they are seen more frequently in captivity.
