| Nice models again but why has the black horse got a white mane and tail?-this does not occur in the breed. The bay is quite nice but think it may be based on the Budweiser Clydesdales as they are bred for this type of colouring. Also many Clydesdales have extensive white on legs and body. |

| The sculpt is pleasant and the pose elegant. I only don't understand why Clydesdale again and the black color, despite being beautiful, is probably not natural to the breed as Taylor pointed out. |

| Black as a colour can occur in Clydesdale but not very often, but not with this white mane and tail combo-from a distance it looks a bit like a very dark liver chestnut with flaxen male and tail. However I do still like that sculpts and the pose of these models. |

OK, maybe we should praise the fact Mojo is using an unusual color since the traditional color is being used too. Revisiting this topic, I think this Clydesdale is the best 2024 Mojo sculpt so far. |

| Well, i also do love so much from their backcatalogue, but this doesn't mean one can't be a bit disappointed. Two different stories. The new lion reminds me of 19th century taxidermy of cape lions etc., really weird. The leopardgecko is actuay anatomically wrong (esp. toes), just a paintjob variation of the daygecko. |

| The black clydesdale with a white mane is such a weird design choice, it's not just an unusual horse colour, it's not possible. A very very dark chestnut with a very flaxen mane can come close to looking black with white, but chestnut isn't found in the breed, so it can't be that. Sabino can give a sort of mixed salt-and-pepper looking grey mane and tail, but not pure white on a horse with no ticking/roaning/body-markings. Unfortunately this is a mistake, not just doing something rarer to stand out. To give an equivalent in wildlife figures, this would be like giving a tiger white stripes instead of black ones - like they've just said let's not bother to google if that's possible, no-one will know. Except everyone knows tigers don't come in that colour, where horse colours are much more complicated and seen as a niche interest which only a few people know much about. Doesn't mean they can just make stuff up though It's such a shame, cos the sculpt is nice enough and then they've spoilt with an incorrect paintjob. I might get one Clydesdale to repaint, but I'd still be buying the bay rather than the black, just so one sale toward the figures shows that collectors would prefer possible colours to invented ones _________________ |

Several of the sculpts are. They must have bought the use for them like the M&B moulds? As for thr clydesdale, my guess at an explanation is that they DID Google references, and probably had some random inclusion such as this pop up. There it is probably a gypsy vanner, they must have seen something like that and just ran with it. I have noticed things like this when doing my own reference photo searches. But the detail, as George pointed out, is that you have to actually research it to see whats possible. Otherwise we would be getting models designed after photoshopped blue tigers with green eyes etc. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Yes it is the famous woodland fennec fox 🤩 a new species for the cryptic collectors. There is also a Savannah brown bear in the second set |

| I like the new Herefords and the pigs are cute. The horses are not to my taste. But I am glad Mojo has new figurines for 2024. |

| It's good to see that they are going to make tubes. The paint quality doesn't look so great, but perhaps it's hard to tell from the photos.
I thought 380054 was originally meant to be North American wildlife, so it might be an American fennec. |

| Maybe it's a released fennec from the pet trade. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | You're funny! Actually most of the mini animals work for North America and the fennec could be used as a kit fox. Though, they had to paint it darker. Also, the badger is clearly an European but with a little change in painting it could work as an American badger. Of course, if we are not too picky with the sculpts. Hobby Lobby, a large North American chain of stores, is still an important partner for Mojö and I suspect one of their main problems is that lose models damage easily in those stores. Since those are sold packaged, they are most suitable to their stands. |

| Mojo is a bit of a hit or miss for me this year. Some are quite nice, at least they look nice in the stock photos but some are just very off. I am looking forward to seeing in hand photos of the models to see who might join my collection. The horses I am a bit pickier on, not sure how to feel about these two. From these photos, I do like the cows (just wish we could see different breeds), lionesses, geckos and pigs. As a puffin lover, he will for sure join my collection too, not as picky with puffin figures! |
