Same here I don't have an absolute favourite each brand is better at some things than others, so equally I love all brands but if I HAD to choose I think my favourite brand would be Papo _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

| Safari is high in me in terms of diversity and dinosaurs but now I'm more concentrated in prehistoric mammals and wild life in general. I like a lot Safari but it is very hard for me to find the brand because I don't buy online. Anyway it is being possible to find some Safari masterpieces with the help of Susanne, Kikimalou and Kristie! All friends from this forum. But my favourite pieces are mostly from Papo and I'm sure in near future I will be very concentrated in Mojo. I recomend you to read this topic! | I also like Safari, mainly because of the many species they make. But the painting isn`t always very good. They would need Harriet to come and teach them a thing or two |

| I would say it is not my number one...Papo has that spot for me too! Safari is very hard to find outside America. They have great species and a wide variety of themes...but they also have bended legs, some really ugly paintschemes and too many tags!!! Papo are more realistic when it comes to some animals, like felines and hoofed mammals. And they are better moulded. Their dinosaurs also look terrific!!!! |

| Lance, please don't tell to your school friends that you've found a forum called Schleich where everybody loves Papo! They will think we are crazy and we are not! No, no, no,! Everybody also loves Safari as you do and as you collect different species and you are North American Safari is the perfect brand for you, anyway you can always add some more Papo in your collection! You will be not disappointed! :) |

| For Me it is Too Hard to just pick one brand!! If I was forced to only collect one thing it would be Safari's Wildlife Wonders! |

| Just because Schleich has more posts, doesn't mean they're the best...

| safari figures typically have a smoother, softer texture than Schleich figures and have brighter colors, but it does not necessarily mean Safari is better. |

| I'll always buy Papo and Safari before any of the other brands! FYI, this year, I will not purchase any figures from Schleich, CollectA, Bullyland, AAA, or Mojo! Honestly, nothing against them, they're just not my style. |

| From the 90's all I have are from the Vanishing Wild collection, African elephant, male and female gorillas, jaguar(spotted and melanistic) and Great White Shark(From their Monterey Bay collection). I started with my Britain's, then just collected if I saw something I liked, which is what I still do to this day(Including my other toy collections: Star Wars(Hasbro 3' 3/4" figs-I collect new figures(Plus I have my old figures from 70's and 80's) from the ORIGINAL 3 movies), Jurassic Park(90's), Batman(Older Hasbro and current DC Direct), Jakks WWE figures(Now Mattel has the license and I don't care for the body type of the figures(Faces are perfect), so I don't collect) and Planet of the Apes(Tim Burton's version had good figures of Attar, Thade and Gorilla soldier). Basically, it was Papo got me back into hard core animal figure collecting. As I said before I really think Safari is on the right track, if they continue with making nice figures like their Indian rhino(That's probably their best figure) and more Wildlife Wonders(Blue Ribbon horses are nice as well)!

| I don't have a style, I will not collect the Papo zebra because I like Papo style! I don't close my eyes to a nice figure only because of the brand... brands are only references to know where to find the figures! How can I forget the fantastic Bullyland vultures only because lions are toyish, are the Bully vulture and the lion the same figure only because we see the same name in their tags??? |

| My "style" or "preference" leans towards Papo and Safari. But if one of the other companies really made an awesome figure I liked, I would definitely purchase it. But I respectfully disagree with you because each brand has their own unique style(I'm sure not all the same artists/designers work on the same animal groupings(Because I agree, Papo needs to upgrade their zebras for sure!)). So each brand has good figures and bad figures! |
