Brand Identification topic

It looks a bit like a Hausser Elastolin bull, but it is not the same, especially its tail.

I think your cow is made by Hausser - see Catalog of Hausser 1966.
I have also a cow looking like yours and also not marked.
And I have a cow nearly looking like a Hausser cow but a little bit smaller and marked with WELO.

It looks very much like a Hausser 1/25 bull because of the plastic used. On the other hand I didn't know this colour, it's usually brown. The tail is different too.

Preiser elastolin is available in black and white but the stains are arranged differently.

Yes, there is something misterious about this model. It was sold together with this impressive bull but this particular one is repainted as a hereford, its original color was like the model I presented before.

Likely they are like those Hong Kong copies of 1970's and 1980's, and it explains the differences like the tail and so. However, as far as I know, those copies are not made of a brittle hard plastic.

Here is an Elephant in composition. It reminds me a Chialù but the left legs and the tusks are different. The material and painting style make me think of Durso. Any idea ?

The elephant, in my opinion, is 100% Durso, it has all the traits of the brand.

Thanks Ricardo, I was hoping you would say "Absolutely not it is a..." because now we are two who think it is a Durso and it isn't sure

If it were Italian, I think it could only be Salpa. But I really think it's a Durso. Maybe an expert on that brand in another forum can help.

I just bought this mammouth from this nice lady and she claims (being herself a schleich collector) that this is a Mammouth from AAA SCHLEICH from 1990.
