Nope. I probably won't ever buy another Dynastes hercules from a Japanese manufacturer. I only collect Japanese companies insects now if:
1. it's a new species
2. I have 3 or fewer examples of it
3. it's a marked improvement over what I already have

I can understand that, I get the impression that Bandai makes Hercules Dynastes like my baker makes chocolate buns. I sometimes find it hard to understand their strategy when there are so many species never before produced in miniature.

These are being sold for a very limited time, starting today, randomly, via on-line gashapon machine.

While still waiting to hear from my source with details, I think it's a safe assumption that the per figure price will be the same 1000 yen as that of the first set, sold the same way in November and releasing this month.

I have to think these two sets are the start of what will be a widely collected series and, owing to the limited releases, very likely good investment opportunities.

Any sales of these beyond the initial reservation period will obviously be for higher prices, so if anyone is interested, please PM asap.

The sawshark is a very good news, even it is an undetermined species, knowing Bandai it will be a must have ( at least for me )

The text really only translates to saw shark but being it a Japanese brand and seeing how far back is the dorsal fin, I think it is a Japanese saw shark.

It is a Japanese sawshark, the same species by Toymany (Toymany has confirmed)
