About those batches, I must say I like very much the Diversity of life ones but the Illustrated Guide to Living Creatures leave me feeling a bit underwhelmed. They are definitely too toyish and cute for me.

Impressive model. 1/32 scale?

Impressive sets and for my personal taste surely the panther chameleon is the most interesting. I'm sure Roger will find a study which will allow him to introduce these in his 1:32 reserve.

Wow, the chameleon looks perfect! It's so colorful!

These are nice. Anyone know how much this series runs usually? Interesting to me that they would use 2 color phases instead of 4 unique species.

I agree, Ana. The wolf is very nicely sculpted but something about the larger eyes, at least in the image, throws it off a bit. Maybe that won't be the case when in hand.

If anyone is interested, this is the third in a new series inaugurated by two prehistoric sets and available only via on-line gashapon machine (so randomly, just as with real ones).

Any wolf collector to partnership with me? Naturally this fox goes to my wish list and I'm happy they included a racoon dog. I agree with Paige, one more species instead of two wolf colors would be nicer but those cover all species of Japanese wild canids. OK, they had two wolf subspecies and they have two fox subspecies.
