| Our Tipple-Topple and Elastolin Elephants have their own shelf. Until today, the Lineol Elephants and the biggest Elastolin Elephant have had to stand where they can, spread out among the Wolves, Pangolins, Apes and Llamas. Today, we made enough space to house them all together. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here they are, travelling to their new home. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The biggest Elastolin Elephant has a howdah. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]These two Lineol Elephants look alike, but the one on the left has metal tusks; the other has composition tusks. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This old Lineol Elephant lost his metal tusks long before we were born. Lesley's father carved him a pair of wooden ones. | They are fabulous !!!!!!! WOW ! Good that you have a special shelf for them now Do you think there are many collectors in the world who can show such a photo ? And with tusk of different material, - even one with home-made tusks, - and a howdah, - is it as old as the elefant ? Thankyou very much for showing this unique collection |

| Thank you, everyone!
Yes, Susanne, the howdah belongs to that Elephant. He has a hole in his neck to lock with a wire underneath his driver. Sadly, we have no driver!
Christophe, we, too, would like to see the charging bull, and we would LOVE to be able to handle him!

Andreas I don't think so, Andreas. As I understand it, only perfect specimens fetch big prices. Am I right? The Elephant in the second picture has had the end of its trunk rebuilt, and the leather straps of the howdah are worn and broken. In the third picture, the right-hand Elephant has cracks and its head has come off and been stuck back on again. The Elephant in the last picture no longer has his original tusks. Surely, this takes a lot from the value? Lesley castlerigg |

| I do not know about price, I am sure it does not matter to you, - they are not for sale Perhaps I am silly, but to me these old, old figueres are just as valuable if they have a few flaws, - it gives the a kind of "life" that no new figuere will ever have These even have shared a long time with you. I am sure they are priceless for you |

| What fantastic figures! They are exquisite! I agree with Susanne, that imperfections give character. I'd much rather look at and handle an old piece that has "lived" than something perfect out of a box. |

| Great collection of composition elephants Les and Sue! The Lineol African elephant in the right back is my favourite, and hard to get in a good condition for a reasonable price... The same for the charging Hausser Elastolin bull in composition, but thankfully, i have that one twice in softplastic, with 2 different colours of tusks...
