So the 2023 Dog Figure of the Year is the CollectA 88997 Rough Collie 

Very predictable winner this one. This dog figure is absolutely phenomenal and I wouldn't be surprised it to get the best ever dog performance on the final poll. Fang was nearly out of this competition since it is a character but fortunately it entered the last minute and what a great 2nd place for it!
It is just a pity the little number of dogs being released lately. Especially Papo that in 2024 is completing its 4th year in a row without releasing a single dog figure and Papo is the core of my collection of dogs. The good news is that CollectA is doing great, the few Mojo dogs are also very good and Schleich works for smaller breeds. Safari dogs are very good too, I only wished they were more similar in size with the other brands.
