2023 Wildlife Figure of the Year: the Final pick !

Ladies and gentlemen, the final poll for the 2023 STS Wildlife model is open. This poll runs for 7 days, it will end on March 2nd. We can vote just in a single figure but we can change our vote as long as the poll is active.
On March 3, the winner will join all other category winners to the grand final poll.

This is so hard to choose!! I have all except the panda... I may have to think about this one a bit more

I voted the Aarvark but it seems the Panda is running faster

It is weird, we all voted the aardvark but likely the panda will win.

To tell the truth , I hesitate between several figures, but I chose for its rarity, the audacity of the brand, I love birds and am proud that it did not take an old Amazon mold and we made a magnificent gray from Gabon just for that I vote for SafariLtd ...... Sorry Papo, CollectA and Mojö

The lifelike pose, bright colours, and detail on the gecko just about does it for me, so I hope the little fella does okay!

I finally put my vote in... It was hard to choose, but I think I'm going with the Aardvark!

Wow!! I am surprised the panda has so many votes! Not that it is a bad model by any means, but we have so many wonderful pandas already I'm shocked it is doing so well in such a great pick of figures

Surely the price is not necesarily a decisive factor for a good choice but here goes a ranking of the prices. Safari models I'm using the company's price while the others I'm using a popular online store if available.
It is important to notice that the boa and gecko are jumbo sized models, though, the panda, winner of this ranking, is considered a standard sized figure.It is not the first time a standard model breaks the price scales, the 2023 Safari Cougar, the retired Papo Nile crocodile or the Mojö Fun Indian gaur were all launched with prices between 12,00 and 15,00 Euros. EUR and USD have similar value.

I don't agree, the painting is fine... and it is so nicely sculpted.

Typically when it comes to Mojo, I'd agree with you. However, I think this aardvark is painted quite nicely and is the best aardvark out there

This store is managed by people with a sense of social responsibility, and I strongly believe they sacrificed profit margin to offer this figure at such a competitive price. Usually, prices are calculated considering the profit percentage, which I believe does not apply here. However, it's good to know that this friendly store has a more affordable alternative for this model.

The proof that Mojo is still capable of presenting wonderful models and the aardvark was also my choice, I hope to get one soon. I wasn't expecting such a good performance from this panda, especially considering it's a common species and a pricey figure, but the truth is that lately, everything Papo does, it does well.
