Minizoo just got them in last night (I got the email too) and I ordered them. :)

The Australian magpie is a 2019 model. I have one in my collection.
Though, thylacine and galah are very good news, I surely will get the galah and enventually the thylacine.

Its a different mould. I got an email from Minizoo saying it was a new item

yes it is obvious, the new mold is very different and far better.

Sorry for not noticing the differences, it has the same product number, 3 years of reviews and a similar pose so it was not that obvious but sure they are different. apparently a remastered model to fix some issues.

Good to see they make smaller figures. I thought the magpie looked a little strange, but then I noticed it was the Australian species. The beak seems slightly short.

Yes, I'm sorry Rogério, the term obvious is perhaps not the most appropriate. Let's just say that when I read Jaromir's post, I thought there was a problem, that the magpie wasn't a new model. When I opened the link, it was clear to me that it wasn't the same model.

I understand, when I compared both official pictures I could spot a few differences but I'm technically not an observant person.
Let's say I'm happy I was wrong because now I want the new one too.

Does anyone know where these figures will be available for purchase in Europe? Galah is already sold out at the MiniZoo, and ordering several figures there with shipping is quite expensive.

Minizoo usually does not have expensive shipping, try to contact Jason directly if you want a small order. Though, these two European online shops also carry Animals of Australia but I don't know if these will be available, maybe the best is to check.

Thank you for your answer. I've already added them to the MiniZoo list.
I wrote to the above-mentioned stores, but they replied that they did not know if and when they would import new figures from S&N.
I have to wait because the figures are sold out for now.

Hmmm, I don't know....I'm not convinced if the new mould of the magpie is a better represention.
I like the old mould much better. The stance and leanness of the old one and the much larger beak presents the bird much better IMO.
I really do like the cockatoo though.

Now it is much easier to see it is a new mold. Not wanting to contradict Simmone, I like best te bulkier body of the newer one, it gives a chest to the figure and a less vertical stance. Looks more natural to me. Though, I really like both models and they are enough different with those white markings all changed so I have the earlier but I want the latter too.
