Schleich 2024 Figures with Comparisons!

I got all the Wild Life from Schleich this year so I thought I'd group them together and do some comparisons since there are already walkarounds for most of these on the forum.

First, the cape buffalo! I like how this model has more of a brown color on it, it stands out. Not my favorite buffalo but still nice nonetheless.

The bonobo female! I originally wasn't going to get this model but I changed my mind when I saw it in person. I'm warming up to primates and this model is well done.

Alpine ibex! I wish this figure had more paint/darker paint. It looks like it sat out in the sun too long. But the sculpt is very nice.

The American black bear! I didn't give this model much thought at first, but after seeing it in stores, I instantly wanted it! I think this might be my new favorite black bear. The paint on the face is very nice and it is a smaller size that goes nicely with other bears. I like the simple walking pose too.

I like a lot the Cape buffalo, the Bonobo and the Armadillo. The Ibex is nicely sculpted but poorly painted.
I'm ot a fan of the Macaw, the feet are way to big, I can't see anything else
The macaque is very nice but I have the Kitan club and the Kaiyodo which are IMHO better. 
The good surprise is the Baribal, far better than expected and now more than pobably on my wishlist.

Hmm, the black bear is really nice, I wish the snout would be a little bit more brown. However I saw in shops, that there are even some models completely painted black without any contrast...so better to pick one in a shop than on an online shop...

I agree. I was happy Schleich made a Japanese macaque since I didn’t have the Kaiyodo ones.

Sadly Schleich’s quality control is very poor nowadays. I never buy from Schleich online unless it is a boxed set. I work at a toy store so I was able to hand pick the Schleich that came in. Some bears had no brown like you said, some ibex had missing pupils, and one ibex didn’t have painted hooves

Very good topic, Jolie! Useful comparisons. I have already the Japanese macaque, I didn't hve a single one. From those I will get the armadillo and the bonobo. I basically forgot a black bear had been released. Now that I have the Toymany rabbits, it is interesting to take a look at other breed identified figures and I believe I find the smaller ears of the Toymany more suitable to the breed. though, I like the Schleich model but now I have more bunies than I've ever expected.
