| Another 2024 addition, the elk/wapiti! It is 10.5 cm long and 10.5 cm tall (7 cm shoulder height) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The elk is very well done. I like the coloring and the antlers look great. The legs are also not too thick which is always nice. Really great model that I don't have any complaints with. Here are some comparisons! With the Safari & Treehouse Kids elk. Safari's is probably still my favorite, I just have such a soft spot for it. I also like the coloring on Safari's neck and face more. Although CollectA's has better antlers and thinner legs. They pair very nicely together though. The CollectA is slightly smaller than the Safari & Treehouse Kids [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]With some CollectA models, the fallow & red deer [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Schleich red deer & Safari caribou [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Another amazing model by CollectA! I'm always happy to add a new ungulate to the collection _________________ Jolie

| Here a species I need a better figure. My elk is still the old Safari. I was planning to get the newer Safari but this CollectA figure is turning the choice not that easy. I find the Safari elk more identifiable and it is important to me that it shows clearly the differences when compared with a red deer. Though, this CollectA model is a better sculpt and I'm loving it. |

| I've been waiting over 20 years to find my elk, the one that will finally convince me to spend a few pennies on him. Thanks to CollectA, I've done it, and your wonderful photos only serve to whet my appetite! |

| I love this North American elk. I'm glad I didn't wait until its official release in Europe this autumn. My only reproach is that my wapiti doesn't fully stand upright, but is slightly leaning on its side. Does anybody else encounter the same issue ? |

| Not with the elk but I had the same problem with the white-tailed gnu and mountain nyala |

My elk was fine when it arrived but I took it outside for photos and it was so hot the leg got soft and bent. I had to fix it when I got home but it stands fine now. _________________ Jolie

| Nope mine just went through a lot of outdoor play so it is very faded. Much like my Safari great horned owl which looks nothing like yours _________________ Jolie

How do you do exactly? My Mojo pronghorn is the one which needs this trick the most, it can never stand on its four legs, always falling down. |

Heat the figure up with hot water so that the leg starts to bend, bend the leg how you want it, then put the figure under cold water. It should stay in place _________________ Jolie
