| Ana's urial is really getting to shine here. I just love those horns. So mesmerizing.
Ah, I used to have one like Andreas' large Made in China figurine as a kid. I'd play with it for hours on end in the woods. I think I even wrote a short story of its imagined life, the geeky kid I was (am?). Seeing it brings back memories. |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Britains sheep 3 A selection of Britains plastic sheep models post 1971. The grey ram was introduced in 1980 and withdrawn in 1992. The sheep dog, grey ewe and white lambs were released in 1971. The former is still available today (2014) whilst the other two were deleted in 1992. The cream coloured ram, ewe and lambs were available from 1992. This ewe and lambs are in the shops now! My favourite of the ‘new’ Britains: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Britains sheep 5 This ram figure was introduced in 1993 and available until 1998. Originally made in China but the mould was brought to England in 1994. Love the way it’s fleece is wind blown. The moorland diorama was made by my Brother-in-Law, Richard Brady. |

Mojo, Schleich, ELC lamb and Britains.
I covet your Britains!
That ELC Lamb is truly one of my favorites. It's one of the most realistic of all lambs, if not the most. Great shot Harriet and I agree Carolynn - the Britains lambs are the best if not the most cutest. The gambolling lamb I had when I was about three years old - still a favourite and one I need to obtain again! |
