Hi everyone! I'm new here and to animal figure collecting in general. I have a quick question regarding the Schleich gorilla. Is it normal for the left leg and right arm to raise higher than the rest of its limbs? Pictures of it I see online show all four limbs touching the ground but not mine. I'm starting to wonder if it might be a defect. Thanks! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I see, maybe it is to be expected. Still an excellent figure nonetheless. And thank you for the edit Cheers!

Is this a brand new addition to the Schleich range? It is undoubtedly an attempt by the manufacturer to give the appearance of movement (i.e., knuckle walking). You can check out gorilla knuckle walking on YouTube [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and Wikipedia [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]It is more dynamic than a static model, for sure, and the raised hand and foot may well be intentional.

Further to the above, this unboxing video on YouTube appears to confirm that Cape Hippo's gorilla figure is not defective: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
