| I think that the black outline around the Golden's mouth should not be removed. It adds visual contrast and makes the figurine more realistic and appealing. |

| It is an improved paint scheme, but if this is one of their official "announcements" for 2025 items that concerns me a little... hopefully there aren't too many repaints only for 2025. That is a little less exciting than new items. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | I've always thought Mojo's biggest flaw is paintwork. They have many great figures that could be incredible if they just had a bit more paint on them. I wonder if we will get some more "new" items or just repaints. Paige already found 2 reptiles but they haven't been announced... Odd? I'm still waiting for Papo and now Safari, so I'll be saving money _________________ Jolie

I'm still waiting for Papo and now Safari, so I'll be saving money I agree, Mojo's biggest weakness is their paint applications. Maybe this is a step in the right direction for improving that raea. |

Not for Mojo; they have some sort of business agreement with HobbyLobby and most years the store gets at least 2 items a few months before the official new year. I used to go haunt the local HLs looking for their new "early models" During covid that stopped but it looks like it has picked up again. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | I'm convinced Mojö is not only showing repaints. Though, if their plain colored figures is their weakness, it is a good news that some of their great models are receiving updated colors. In my opinion, this one is looking more realistic and I wouldn't mind to see the precious fennec with a slightly rusty color. |

| Golden retrievers (most dogs?) certainly have black lips. |

| Not all dogs have black lips/flews; and pigment color can change over time (and vary by breed of course). I.e. both my spaniel and terrier have had pigment changes in their oral tissue. My spaniel has a mostly black mouth (pink spotting deeper in his mouth/throat, mostly pink tongue) but around his "lips" and flews in his old age he had some pink patches showing up which is normal as aging progresses. My childhood dogs' nose went from black to pinkish maroon for the same reason. My terrier actually had a lot of really interesting pigmentation changes all over his body but this was from growing up and will likely continue to change as he moves into his older years. He was very pink skinned, when born, but he gathered pigment in his nose, mouth, rims of his eyes, and spots that could be seen on his skin through the white bits of his fur. These last patches would show up and then disappear and reappear somewhere else within a week or two which initially really surprised me!
But to clarify, a golden will have a dark pigmented mouth/lips if it is purebred. So yes, this new paint scheme really should add some glossy black tint around his/her open mouth. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | The new painting on the Mojo Raccoon is an improvement, as the fur looks more realistic and the black fringe around the eyes is more accurately portrayed. |

| Do raccoons have tadpole shaped masks? Happy for improvements but please Mojö reveal new figures. I've just bought the aardvark and the giant anteater and they are amazing! |

| Hmm... I think the new mask on the racoon looks strange. Racoon masks are straight black stripes, not tear drop form. This way it looks more like a red panda's mask. The fur looks better though. _________________ Simone |

The ultra-simplified Thylacine repaint is definitely needed... |

| Yeah the raccoon's mask is wrong- the shape is completely off. The original was better. But the overall fur texture does look more detailed with the drybrush looking technique.
I agree, the thylacine in particular would benefit from a repaint. As would their one clydesdale and their howling wolf! _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Arabin camel, the third repaint of Mojo 2025. it seems that Mojo just want to repaint the whole body without attention to details! |

| I can understand, that they are updated their models in terms of painting. I can even understand it, that they present them as new items. However I cannot understand, when a company makes even more mistakes in the aim to do better (painting of the racoon -.-). And I can´t understand why they present those "newcomers" weekly - do they really think they are generating hype among us collectors with this strategy?
If we wouldn´t have had already informations about new reptiles coming in 2025, I would become more and more sceptic about Mojos line-up for 2025... |

The new painting looks like a previous one to me, just a little bit different shades, like a subtle differences in painting between a few copies of the same figurine. |
