Which animals figurines or brands do you collect ?

I'm trying to only collect Kaiyodo, Lineol and custom models at the moment - but I mainly collect what appeals to me.

EVERYTHING!!!

I collect each animal that looks lovely and/or realistic to my eyes :) It can be Papo, Kaiyodo, Bandai, Bullyland, Maia and Borges, Mojofun, CollectA, Sol90, Kitan Club, Schleich, Miniland, Preiser, Lineol, Tipple Topple, Safari Ltd, Breyer, Colorata, Britains, AAA, Yowies, Noah's Pal and most welcome custom made animals Also many more different brands if possible.

However I don't think there is a brand in the World that I would like to collect all line from, it's just not my goal And I usually choose only extant mammals and birds from brands, with small amount of reptiles sometimes.

I mostly collect farm, horses, wild animals from schleich, but I am bad sometimes and spend my parents money on other brands sometimes too, Bullyland, collecta, mojo, safari etc. But mainly schleich.

I collect the animals I like from any brands. No preferences. Currently I will be concentrate on Japanese brand alone for at least till end of the year and hope that to have what I want.

collecting Animal toy is a drug to me!

I collect a lot of different brands -- schleich, palo, safari, mojo, collect, kaiyodo, yujin, colorata, britains, bullyland, starlux, playvision, science and nature, noah's pals, and even a few by K+M, Re-ment, and Bandai. I would love eventually to get some older models by Lineol and similar brands.

Right now, I definitely try to get the models from the major brands that I really like (e.g. I'm looking forward to getting the Mojo Fun models that haven't been released and to the Papo Oryx). But most of what I've bought last month have been Colorata Sets and Britains. I really am happy with those lovely Britains.

Papo, CollectA, Safari Ltd (the Wild Safari and Carnegie lines) and Favorite are my main brands of interest. I like some of the older Bullylands. Their Stego was magnificent.

I like Battat dinosaurs too but they are usually too rare and expensive for me to get a hold of. I only like 2 animals from the Invicta line, the Lambeosaurus and the Liopleurodon.

But I don't restrict myself. If a brand makes a dinosaur figure that I like, I buy it.

Yeah well I don't mind the brand much, more the Dino type, mainly Stegosaurs, Spinosaurs, Mosasaurs and Tyrannosaurs, they are my faviourite groups. And I just seek what comes my way and then I can always see if i like it that much to buy or just leave it aside. Although Tyco's Diner Riders line shall always be seen as something special to me, it's what I grew up with during the 80's :)

Horses:
Breyer (mostly old molds)
Peter Stone (not very much into them)
Schleich (mostly old ones)
Papo (very picky)
Safari Ltd (almost all WC and some BR)
Bullyland (very picky)

Some Artist Resins (those I like are really expensive,so I have to get them on time payments, and that requires time)

Wildlife:
Papo (wild cats and dinos, wolves)
Schleich (cats and birds of prey, foxes, wolves)
Bullyland (birds of prey)
Kaiyodo (cats and birds of prey)

I thought this would be a good time to mention the Animals Of Australia line. I do not personally collect them, though they may interest some of you. I'm just surprised I've never heard them mentioned here before. TGF sells them.

Oh and they do have some Australian dinosaurs as well.

I think I may add them to my list, though I have only two birds from this brand:) And a dingo, yes.

I collect mostly Safari and Schleich, but I've got a few favorites from vintage plastic "Made in Chinas" and Marx. Also a few Club Earth and Wild Republics. Mostsly harder to find animals like weasels and wolves.

Im curious about if you have any favorite figures?? I mean, do you collet all of the figures ore do you only collect fx. horses and so on?

I started collection horses, but now i also collect other figures of schleich.

I would love to get my hands om some more cats, i just bought 3 from a collector, i dont think those who are in the shops are that pretty. :-)

I collect species and subspecies, the brand isnt important

But not so Maxi and Mini and Puzzle animals

I like schleich mostly.

And i don't think my boyfriend want me to exspand to other brands lol.


i collect breyer first, but their very exspecive and i don't think there that pretty, im more of a schleich fan!

I mostly collect by species instead of brand:

Cervines: deer, moose, elk, reindeer, caribou etc.
Wild Canines: wolves, foxes, coyotes, wild dogs etc
Birds of prey: any species
and a few Hyenas sneak in from some of the brands

I buy any of the above types of animals from any brand, as long as they have good sculpt and the paint job is well done.

The brands I currently have is:

AFAIK Jakks released animal figures with cooperation with Discovery Kids channel. All these figures unfortunately have very visible large blue logo The only Jakks figure in my collection is very well sculpted jumping tiger.
