| Congratulations Martin. I finally have a set of shelves up again. I replaced the floor in my front room last summer and am only now getting things back in place. Still a few wall shelves to go. I do not have anywhere near enough shelves. | Oh,I love this thread! Hariett, you have a fabulous collection of farm animals and so nicely displayed! Of course I love all St.Bernards, but you have so many nice cows also... And I must get those new sheep, they are sooo nice! Martin,Big CONGRATULATIONS for your 500th animal figurine, that's a huge step. I can't wait to see new pics of your zoo. Tim,your Schleich collection is priceless! I especially love the dogs and cats, you have the Cocker Spaniel also,do you know where I can find one, perhaps? I fell in love with this guy when I first saw him in Ken's collection, but wasn't able to find one for a good price. |

| Thank you, sorry but I have had most of my dogs some years now. I will watch for any cocker spaniels that may show up here but it is unlikely. I would think it would be easier to find them there in Germany than over here in the USA.
This is only a part of my collection of Schleich of course. Just the birds, dogs, cats, giraffe and zebra, and prehistorics. I hope to do some group photos soon. I have never had all of my horses out at once for instance, or cattle. _________________ Tim :) ToyAnimal.info - The Toy Animal Collecting Wiki Animoblog Animobil.info Playmobil Animals

| WOW Martin, I like You newcomers very much I must find them in future too This little hippo is sooo cute I like also new style of Your photos Very "cold" colors and lighting but it looks fresh, that way red schleich logo is the strongest accent of all composition :) I would try to avoid this circle shadow on the front of figure, but it's just small detail Did You use very, very light green paper for background or is it just lighting? :) And congrats for 500!!! |

| Martin, I also like the green colour in your new photos. And the hyena looks lovely!
I think it's the flash + long objective + close-up-photos that make the shadow to the front of the picture - it's actually the shadow of your own camera, am I right? I have the same problem (if I have to use the flash) with mine, and I think there are 3 solutions (plus not using the flash). 1) taking the photos from further away. with a good camera the photos are of such good quality that they don't suffer too much if you have to crop them. 2) getting a shorter objective. 3) getting an external flash.
I think it's great that people put effort on taking good photos of their beloved figures! _________________ my website: Noora's Ark (last updated 13th of September 2013)

| Yes, I like the choice of light green It's very delicate and nice :) I think You can try with natural light instead of flash. Or light from lamp but not attached to camera. If You use tripod or other thing to make camera steady You can use longer exposure (like few seconds or so), that way You not have to use so strong light from flash. I like Your photos very, very much and it's great to see how You search the best solution! That will lead You to wonderful effects, I'm sure |

| Great collections, and I really love the way they are displayed) And here are some of the latest pics of my collections) My Schleich-like horses. I got a pair of shelves for Christmas, so now my wildlife and birds collections moved to the other room. Schleich and Co got an opportunity to settle down on the former wildlife's shelf. Unfortunately, there's still some lack of space. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]But my Breyer Stablemates and wildlife are happy with their new shelves, I believe:)) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]By the way, suddenly found out that most of my Breyer horses are different variations of bay) Esp Stablemates. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Though my Schleich-like equines and Stablemates got some living space, the taller part of my herd still suffer from a terrible lack of space:( Three more horses, including Artist Resin Knightly Cadence are on their way to me, but I have no idea where to place them now:( [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]My Arabian shelf. | And- kind of bonus) This is what happens when there are two collectors in one family;) My father's war miniature collection (or I would rather say -a small part of it) next to my Schleich-like herd. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Great collections everyone! I'm so jealous on some of your figurines! I only have up to date photos with my dino-vitrine,dogs, pelagic sealife and my farm animals: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I will try not to change these 4 anymore since they have reached a state of balance.
