Beautiful collection Kristie! I have nothing against the sort of photos that many of us take, photos that show hundreds of huddled creatures overrunning every surface (that's exactly what my collection looks like). But it is really nice to see a collection that is more restrained and orderly--it coheres well and one can digest it rather than being overwhelmed. I remember that Anna recently took a picture of the part of her collection she has with her in the Netherlands and it was tidy, organized, and the items were well chosen. It was much easier for me to take in and enjoy. Your collection is the same. The items are wonderfully chosen, they are organized so well, and each is gorgeous. I'm envious. Absolutely lovely collection.

(p.s. I'm also glad you kept the grinning camel. Did you keep the hippo that is your avatar?)

Scott, sadly I do not still have Papopotamus. When I went out, I went out. I sold nearly everything. Should I have thought it through and not been so compulsive (unfortunately a very bad character flaw of mine)? Probably. But Papopotamus can be replaced.

I'm just glad you all took me back.

Bah, it's completely true. You can always get another Papopotamus. (Great word.) I completely understand. I have had very strong urges to purge completely and sell everything. I've resisted so far, but one day....
