| i think safari is better then papo...papo,s sculpture it seems to have a broken leg and the color it,s like a cameleon on grass. Anyway...i have something with papo...but it,s my problem. but between safari and papo i prefer the old schleich komodo dragon.... |

| I can't tell which one is the best, the shape are fine on both model and of course the color of the papo is a bit odd. But they are very decent komodo dragons. I have the Papo and I think I will buy the Safari too . About the Schleich, it's not exactly a komodo dragon... it's a mythological creature with the head and body of a komodo dragon and the tail of a snake . [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I like very much the COLORATA dragon [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

| Congratulations, Komodo dragons are very nice species! The only I know is the Papo and I have and love it! I can't tell about the others but in pics the Schleich looks very toyish! The Safari looks great! Papo has a walking pose that's the reason why he looks have a broken leg like the real ones... is nice replicas look like real animals and not like funny toys! | The COLORATA, one looks to me the most realistic of them all! But I like all of them equally I think _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

| How big is Papo's komodo dragon? It is the same size as the Nile croc? _________________ Born to be Wild and Free!

| Papo artists/sculptors really do an excellent job on their reptiles! The detail of the scales/skin is truly magnificent! |

| I would really like to see Papo continue with their reptiles by making a Gharial, American Alligator, and a resting position Nile croc! |

| I like the Komododragon, he looks good to me, and in scale with the croc, which isn't the biggest one i guess... I do have 4 different komodo's now, from which some are good, and one is bad for sure, see here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]14166 Schleich 2000-2005 [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]268829 Safari Ltd, for me the best, but the biggest to... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]68388 Bullyland, the worst... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]68491 Bullyland, the earlier model, and so much better i think... |
