| I love the Abaco Mare. Pretty model! But, if you want to get really technical , she's completely inaccurate since there are no pinto Abaco mares. There are only three and they're all bay. The only pinto is one of the stallions, and he's a splash with blue eyes. Assuming he's still alive, since apparently he hasn't been seen in years. So your options for this model are (a) an inaccurate representation of a splash, or (b) whatever you decide you want it to be :) . _________________ carolynn

The only pinto was a stallion? Well, that's funny, because I've found a photo with two pintos, you know (and I have a strong feeling they've used the left one to be represented in model). [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] - Quote :

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] the only pinto is a stallion. the mare in the photo - who must be the model! - must be one who died. According to the website, they're down to two stallions - including one who hasn't been seen in years - and three bay mares. it's a pity they weren't able to do more sooner to save this breed, before most of them died, but the breed has been kept so "pure" it's inbred beyond all hope. that mare is (was) so pretty. i love splash. _________________ carolynn

that mare is (was) so pretty. i love splash. Oh, I see. Just read your statement in a wrong way and misunderstood it. Anyway, quite agree that she was pretty. And it's a pitty that the breed's vanishing.((( |

| Thank, guys))) One more newcomer, a 2012 Tinker stallion (not piebald, yes! ) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]His mold is detailed, it's common for Safari Ltd, the only thing I don't like about him (not to mention the painting) is the surface of the figurine- those strange... stripes. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Anyway, he's handsome:) It's a pitty we have only one new Safari equine this year. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| I like Safari ltd because many of its animals are more detailed of Schleich . Then every year puts on the market new breeds and is not repetitive as Schleich . Only certain models painting is very bad. I'm sorry that the appaloosa has no clogs streaks and the white sclera eyes. |

| I really like the idea of the painting of this model (one of my favourite stallions of this breed - St. Clarins - is of this colour ), but I don't really like the way he's sculpted - the neck seems to be too short, and is carried too vertically. Not to mention that sculpted coat - someone on Polish forum said it looks like it was made with rake _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

It's great we finally got an Irish cob in color that differs from a piebald one=) As for the neck- I consider it may look a bit short because of the horses' pose as well. |
