I LOVE the goats and sheep

And the panda is cute, - I wonder what the curly-coated pony is supposed to be

The Schleich horses are really falling behind in both Mojo, CollectA and Papo now

It seems I am one of the few that love the horses this year! I love them all! Especially the Haflinger foal and TWH yearling.

Izzy your ot the only one that likes the horses I'd rather spend my money on the 2012 horses goats and sheep than much else but i havent see papo yet.

I really really like the sheep and goats!!!!! I will definitely get those!!! All hope is not lost!!!!

Every year the same: The people whine about the new Schleich figurines. I hate it.

2012 is better than 2011. I like all the horses, but my favorites now are the sheep and goat. I love old kinds of domestic animals.

The bears are good, too. The gorillas i must see in real, i can't make an opinion now.

In animals, Schleich is always better than Papo. Papo sheep, goat, apes and even horses looks like nuclear accidents.

Only the mutants, the dinosaurs and only one horse are good from Papo.

Izzy, I love the new horses too! Most of them, at least. I'll have to see the Icelandic and Akhal-teke foals in real life before I decide whether to like them or not, but they always look better IRL than in pictures, so I'm very excited about next year. I hope it won't take too long to ship them to Finland, I don't want to wait till March or April!

Horses seem to be better than this year ones :) But I don´t like those red wraps? that one of them wears. What were the sculptor and the painter thinking about when doing those things? :S

Uhghh....The gorillas look strange...The sheep are gorgoeus though!

I was really disappointed at the gorilla, polar bears and panda last time but I think the new horses are amazing!!!! I love their colours

And the baby goats remind me my own goats were they were babies!!!!! They're so cheeky

I like the horses! Can't wait till january to buy them! I hope there is going to a new set by the trained horse. I wander what the people figures look like..

Currently only Panda is on my list now! Rest of them doesn't impress me at all!

I love new sheep!!!!! Both are wonderful the mother and baby I hope they will introduce also ram next year
Some of new horses are also very nice in my opinion, new haflinger foal has very nice pose. I'm happy to see Akhal tekhe in grazing pose-I will surely buy this one.
Gorillas I will have to see in real to say if they are good, I think they may be nice. I don't really like new panda and polar bears, they look too plain, too simple
I like the fact Icelandic mare seems to be in winter coat :)

Some horses are great. I like Haflinger foal, TWH foal, camarques mare... yeah, some are really great. I was excited about iceland family but stallion is... retired one was much better! But foal and mare is good. Akhal tekhe mare in grazing pose is amazing!
Gorillas are not my thing so... I´m leaving them in store. Goats are nice also sheep... Panda and polar bears are not that good :/
So... Schleich is going down

I'm not sure if I may say the same about papo sheep, goats and apes but I agree with You about their horses But what about Papo big cats??? They are wonderful and much better than Schleich IMO!!!

I agree, the quality of Schleich is defenitely going down.

I don't think, the gorillas, the Panda or the Polar bears will looking better in real..You can see a lot details of them on the pictures. c'mon, smiling bears or gorillas-thats ridicoulos.

It seems, the Schleich Staff never seen gorillas in real, their new models are look like the coustums in the 1967 movie "Planet of the Apes"

The Panda is sitting realistic with bamboo in its hand, but the whole figure is too cute, to cartonnish, it looks not naturalistic, so the Polar bears- very poor. So let's wait, how the elphants will look like-maybe like "Dumbo-the flying elephant"?

But Schleich knows that, they have put down the high qulaity of their figures , because they know, they will be bought. They make only sure, to loook a little bit better than Bully, but that's it...

Some of the horses looks nice, but not in compare of their high quality as before...

So Schleich has 2012 the most dissappointing year out of the view of so many collectors I know...

Uasally, I'm a really optimistic guy, but not in the case of Schleich, so this is just the beginning,I have absolutly NO hopes for 2013 to see a better quality of the figures, more animals or more interesing species...

I don't what happend at Schleich, maybe the mangement has changed ? So a new Manager has decided, to put down the quality, making less figures and only common, popluar species, future big sellers ? This would be a realistic answer to my question:"What happend with Schleich ?"

If you look at the possibilities that Schleich had in the 80's and the 90's than is the quality for those models very hight. Now the possibilities are more advanced and when you compare the current quality with that. Yes Schleich is going backwards.

You have to see the models in the relation with when they where produced.

So I completly agree with Bongo. Also on the Schleich 2013, I hoped that 2012 would be better than 2011, but no, so I have lost hope too for 2013.

I must say we can't forget we are talking about only a picture of a figure.
In those pictures I don't like the animals, but obviously I can change my mind when I will see them with my own eyes. Maybe the problem is from the photographer
Lets wait for the elephants and birds.
And specially let's wait for Christophe releases
