Papo should make new european roes, the actual ones looks like fallow deer. Adult roes don't have white spots on their coat. Roes, are roedeers? There's no roedeers in Papo range! But the adulte female is wrong with their white spots, European red deers really don't have it in that way,. But that's not possible, it would be the 3rd deers generation in a very short time, I don't believe. A repainting is possible, I guess! :) |

They call it Cerf in French language. Using Wikipedia French people uses this word to the red deer specifically! Maybe Kiki can help here. They are in fact red deers, the only big flaw of the doe is that she has white spots and it was not supposed. :) I also thought the leopard was wrongly tagged but Kiki told me that French people uses the word Panthere specifically to the leopard. If you need a nice red deer you have the new CollectA or Schleich and a nice roedeer you have in Bullyland, my absolute favourite. |

| Paka, I've splitted your roedeers collection to a new topic. It is interesting enough to be presented in collections section. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

OMG poor bull! This one has been gven lots of steroids! (or whatever you spell it) No steroids added Sylvia, you can see the muscles easily on the Blanc-bleu Belge because of the lack of fat and the selection of the breed is on the "culard" gene which gives muscular hypertrophy of the backside. (A bit later in my answer) Well, the effect is very similar... By giving steroids or by breeding for hypertrophia the result is an excess of muscle that is not good for the animal, it means a weight excess and extra tension in bones, joints and ligaments. It also adds extra work to heart. _________________ Visit my collection gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Visit my art gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I accept commissions! |
