Many of you have this liontail Macaque,and he was in my list ,but other animals arrived before.

Now he is part of my collections and I am surprised,with his color,because I was thought, that it was very dark.

then, I take a pictures.

Just paint the tail all black and you got something!
After all it's not a "Ring Tailed Lion Tailed Macaque"...
It's a Lion Tailed Macaque : )

Fernando, the macaque is wonderful, but it is really a lion tailed macaque??? Suspect

If it is you don't have only to repaint but also resculpt! Anyway it is more beautiful than the original and in the world of macaques everything is possible! monkey

It is a great model indeed!
Strangely enough by Chap Mei, which made some figurines, which can be odd looking in some ways... Rolling Eyes

It is the lion tail macaque indeed, often called wanderu to... Cool

As you all know, being old world monkeys, LTM's don't have prehensile tails,
so perhaps aside from repainting to remove rings, re-sculpt tail so hanging down : )

Overall, I kind of like the Chap Mei figures. There's just something about them that are cool!
The Jungle Trek Rainforest Rover truck (w/fold out tent), Chief Kahara, Colonel Green, Hefty Nicky, Skinny Bones McButt, striped hyena, chimp, Great white(The Larger GW shark version) w/cage, Wild Quest African elephant(Largest version, similar to Safari VW), mandrill and Crocodile(Moving Jaw) are pretty cool!
The playsets have so many "extras"too, that makes them more attractive.

I must admit, their employees in product development do a great job in putting together their play sets(So does Playmobil).
I would like to see Papo/Safari LTD make some similar play sets to Chap Mei!
The Playmobil zoo is pretty cool too! Nice enclosures for the animals, even a gift shop with very little animal figures for sale!

As I said both Chap Mei and Playmobil not the most realistic or artistically detailed, but they're just cool! Very imaginative!

Like I said, not really my style either, but other companies can expound on their ides. I would love to see a Papo zoo play set/display! Or some more jungle vehicles!
